Genetic dissection of sex chromosome meiotic drive in Drosophila simulans – SexChroDrive
Looking for genes that cause female-biased sex ratio and for antagonist genes that restore an equal sex ratio in natural populations of the species Drosophila simulans
Adaptation of Fragmented Freshwater species Assemblages In Rapidly-changing environmentS – AFFAIRS
Animal communities respond to change by losing/gaining species or by evolutionary change within species. Understanding such processes is crucial now that climate and land use are being rapidly modified by man. We will study these processes in Antillean freshwaters.
ASP technologIes for Querying large scale multisource heterogeneous web information – ASPIQ
The overall objective of the project is to propose new solutions for querying large scale multisource heterogeneous information, with two applications to web linked data and underwater archaeological surveys, where in both applications we face large data sets expressed in RDFs and OWL.
Assimilation and integration of Geodetic observations Into subduction earthquake Rupture modeling. – AGIR
The 2011 Mw9.0 Tohoku earthquake (Japan) shocked the worldwide seismologist community by demonstrating that we could not anticipate exceptionally large earthquakes properly. Today’s failure is mostly due to the rare occurrence of such events. However, the increasing number of interseismic observations opens new perspectives. The strategy we develop here aims to take advantage of interseismic geodetic measurements, which can be used to infer the mechanical loading process of the plate interface.
Multiple-resonance irradiations in NMR for high-resolution structural characterization of fluorinated solids – IRMMAF
Structural determination of powders is still nowadays a major challenge, preventing the discovery of potentially interesting new materials. Because of its more local character, solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is nowadays considered as a key technique, in complement to diffraction, to address the specificity of fluorinated porous solids like zeolites or MOFs.
QuantumDots based Highly Sensitive Multiplexed FluoroImmunoAssays – NanoFRET
The NanoFRET project aims at exploiting the exceptional spectroscopic properties of luminescent semi
