Call for projects – FLASH "Scientific cooperations France-Greenland" 2026 Edition
Greenland now occupies a unique place at the crossroads of major scientific issues and growing geopolitical tensions. A key territory for the understanding of global climate and environmental dynamics, it is also affected by rapid transformations affecting its ecosystems, natural resources, infrastructure and inhabitants, the majority of whom are indigenous.
Covid-19 Flash call: the French National Research Agency (ANR) funds 86 projects totalling €14.5 million and opens a new call for Research-Action projects
As part of the Covid-19 Flash call, which aims to mobilise scientific communities in response to the evolving epidemic, the French National Research Agency (ANR) has completed the review process and awarded immediate funding to 86 research projects covering a wide range of issues related to the crisis. The budget for the call has increased substantially, to €14.5 million, thanks to emergency funding pledged by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI) and financial partners. In light of the evolving situation, ANR has opened a new call for Research-Action projects on Covid-19 to address urgent needs.

Deep roots versus deep pumps : Comparing deep nutrient uplift in dry tropical eco- and agro-systems – NutriLIFT
Deep roots fulfill essential functions, impacting water and geochemical cycles, plant ecophysiology and community ecology not only in natural forests but also in agrosystems. However, quantifying the lift of nutrients released from rock-minerals weathering remains a challenge linked on the one hand to the hidden nature of the roots and on the other hand to the complexity of the rhizosphere.
Alcohol-related neurodevelopmental disorders: imaging and modelling markers from the brain anatomy – ANDIMBA
ANDIMBA aims to identify, characterise and combine for diagnostic and prognostic purposes neuroanatomical MRI markers of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD), which are still lacking in the clinical setting. Its approach is to combine clinical expertise in FASD giving access to a large set of radio-clinical data and expertise in computer-assisted neuroimaging providing innovative tools to study the brain with developmental growth anomaly.
Adaptive Optics PSF Prediction – APPLY
A critical point when analyzing AO data concerns the separation of the instrument contribution from the intrinsic signature of the astrophysical signal. This can only be achieved by an accurate estimation of the instrument Point Spread Function (PSF). But deriving an accurate PSF model remains a challenge, and the lack of PSF knowledge often represents the main limitation when analyzing AO data.<br />This is the goal of APPLY: provide an accurate PSF model associated with each observation.
Synthesis of conjugated polyynes by alkyne metathesis – SyCoPAM
Conjugated polyynes are an important class of molecules, both in the field of materials and the field of biochemistry. The synthesis of polyynes bearing an odd number of conjugated triple bonds is challenging. Preliminary results suggested that alkyne metathesis could be very helpful for the synthesis of conjugated triynes and longer polyynes.
Dynamic Matching and Interactions: Theory and Experiments – DynaMITE
The objective of this project is to develop a new generation of theoretical models of dynamic matching, voting and networks by embedding static decisions in dynamic models represented by Markov processes. The project is subdivided into three sub-projects. Dynamatch is devoted to the study of dynamic matching problems., Dynavote focuses on dynamic voting models. Dynanet is a project on dynamic formation of networks.
