Documenting Clinical Practice – LAENNEC
l anatomy. This reassessment is based on an exceptional collection of archives (several thousand manuscript
Domestication as a step towards reproductive isolation – DomIsol
Genetic exploitation of wild relatives in crop improvement is a key alternative strategy to the massive use of inputs, and promotes the sustainability of agroecosystems. It is however conditioned by cross compatibilities between wild and domesticated forms, and fertility of the resulting progenies.
The DOMISOL project aims at characterizing the extent and molecular nature of reproductive barriers between wild and domesticated forms, and at investigating the underlying evolutionary processes.
Doping of semiconductor nanocrystals by soft chemistry – NanoDoSe
The semiconductor nanocrystals exhibit exceptional optical properties; these can be modified through
Dynamic Matching and Interactions: Theory and Experiments – DynaMITE
The objective of this project is to develop a new generation of theoretical models of dynamic matching, voting and networks by embedding static decisions in dynamic models represented by Markov processes. The project is subdivided into three sub-projects. Dynamatch is devoted to the study of dynamic matching problems., Dynavote focuses on dynamic voting models. Dynanet is a project on dynamic formation of networks.
Dynamic Reconstruction of Region Of Interest Tomography. Theory and Experiments. Reconstruction Dynamique de Région d'Intérêt en Tomographie. Théorie et Expérimentations. – DROITE
To reconstruct medical images from truncated radiographic projections of organs that are in motion during the data acquisition.
To develop solid theoretical bases for the development of robust and efficient algorithms.
To test and evaluate these methods in the context of interventional imaging, in orthopedics in the framework of pedicle screw insertion and in radiotherapy of lung tumours.
Dynamic Versatile Semantics – DYVERSE
The objective of DyVerSe is to provide better tools for a dynamic description of programs. This representation must handle rich combinations of computational effects: higher-order, shared memory concurrency, probabilistic choice, etc. It must also allow us to link earlier semantic development for specific effects, which have until now remained separate.
Dynamic assembly of aromatic oligoamide foldamers for stabilizing protein-protein interactions – FOLDynamic
Combining the self-assembly properties of aromatic oligoamide foldamers into double helices in water with their protein surface recognition properties via their proteinogenic side chains to ultimately stabilize heteromeric protein dimers.
Dynamics of an arc volcano with extruding lava domes, Merapi (Indonesia): from the magma reservoir to eruptive processes – DOMERAPI
On andesitic volcanoes, magma reaches the surface as domes that destabilize gravitationally or explosively to form pyroclastic flows that travel kilometers along the flanks of the volcano or form vertical explosive columns. These different eruptive styles generate drastically different human and environmental impact.
DOMERAPI proposes a multi-disciplinary approach that involves and integrates geological and geophysical methods in order to improve our understanding of these magmatic processes.
