Subversive pro- and anti-inflammation trade-offs promote infection by Listeria monocytogenes – PROANTILIS
usually a source of high mortality, with one exception listeriosis, which is a leading cause of deaths
Taxonomy, venoms and evolution of the Conoidea – CONOTAX
The Conoidea is a group of venomous marine gastropods highly diversified. The main challenge of the project is to identify the factors explaining this diversification, the main hypothesis being that new toxins allow capturing new preys, thus to colonize new niches, leading to the apparition of new species.
Mechanics of Tissues: multi-scale structural approach of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome – METIS
re during a mechanical assay was not possible, except in some very specific cases, or through “post-mortem”
Multiscale Operando Structural chAracterization of vanadium phosphate Industrial Catalysts – MOSAIC
A fundamental work is dedicated to the global and local structural order characterization of the different phases present in the industrial catalyst. We would like to elucidate the probable dynamic effects which may be present in different phases constitutive of the active catalyst and influence the reactivity of the material in the operating conditions. For that purpose, a combination of multiscale X-ray scattering experiments and solid state NMR analysis in Operando conditions is developed.
Phosphasalen oxidized complexes – PsalenOx
How may the presence of phosphorus in the backbone of the ligand influence the nature of oxidized complexes ? Phosphasalens can be viewed as phosphorous analogues of salens featuring two phenoxides and two iminophoshoranes which are highly electron-donating. A precise description of the electronic structure of the oxidized complexes is targeted, as well as the stabilization of oxo complexes, which are relatively rare in salen chemistry (except the chromium case).
MAgnetic inteRactions at Mercury between the InTerior and the Exosphere – MARMITE
The work conducted during this project relied on the analysis of measurements from the MESSENGER probe (NASA), in orbit between 2011 and 2015. We were able to 1/ describe Mercury's magnetic environment (from the dynamo field to interactions with the solar wind), and 2/ design and test different tools to extrapolate models, add additional constraints and parameters, and better prepare the observations of the BepiColombo mission.
New genes and mechanisms establishing Left-Right Asymmetry in Drosophila – DRO-ASY

Ontology and photogrammetry for generalization of survey in underwater and nautical archaeology – GROPLAN
ts. The project is based on a survey of an exceptional deep water shipwreck in Malta (located 110m deep
First Haitian sessions on higher education
On April 10th and 11th 2014, ANR took part in the first Haitian sessions on higher education organised by the Haitian Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) in order to share the experience of the Flash Haiti call for proposals launched in 2010. Below is a retrospective of the aims of the sessions and the contribution of ANR.
Host factors in hepatitis B virus cccDNA formation as novel antiviral targets and biomarkers - identification, preclinical evaluation and impact for liver disease. – hepBccc
