New Religiosities in Turkey: Reenchantment in a Secularized Muslim Country ? – NEORELIGITUR
This project intends to study the emergence and development of new religiosities in Turkey, a secularized Muslim country. Using diachronic and synchronic standpoints, it raises the question - until now not tackled by research on religions in Turkey, which is dominated by studies on Islam (Sunnism, Alevism) and Sufism -, - of religious reconfigurations, of their forms and registers, and of their historical complexity.
Social Mobility, Social Exclusion and Social Networks – SOSOSO
The object of this research project is to analyse the impact of social networks on two distinct but related phenomena: social mobility and social exclusion. The key role played by networks on mobility and exclusion has been widely documented in the social sciences, particularly in sociology, but ignored in economics. Our objective in this project is to shed new light on this literature by importing recently developed concepts in network economics.
MAgnetic inteRactions at Mercury between the InTerior and the Exosphere – MARMITE
The work conducted during this project relied on the analysis of measurements from the MESSENGER probe (NASA), in orbit between 2011 and 2015. We were able to 1/ describe Mercury's magnetic environment (from the dynamo field to interactions with the solar wind), and 2/ design and test different tools to extrapolate models, add additional constraints and parameters, and better prepare the observations of the BepiColombo mission.
