Multifunctional implantable probes based on conducting polymer devices – PolyProbe
opposed to an electrode, yields recordings with exceptionally high signal-to-noise ratio. In PolyProbe we [...] will allow the simultaneous recording from an exceptionally large number of neurons and, at the same time
Identification of Matrix Proteins Affecting Crystal Texture in chicken and guinea fowl eggshells – IMPACT
Better understand the mechanisms of birds eggshell formation. Identify and characterize the interactions between proteins and minerals in the avian reproductive tract, which allow the formation of a highly elaborated ultrastructure of the eggshell
Contacts and Acculturation in Classical Etruria : Images, Notions, Artefacts – CAECINA
reach a better understanding of that highly exceptional phenomenon, and the way it worked, we have chosen [...] Etruscan culture as a whole. The excavation of an exceptional Etruscan/Hellenistic rock-cut tomb will allow
Cognitive Systems with Stochastic Spintronics Devices – CogniSpin
future. The project will benefit from an exceptional context. The coordinator has already led a pioneering [...] project. Finally, the project benefits from the exceptional expertise of IEF in nanoelectronics-based design
Role of neutral drift, developmental constraints and natural selection in the long term evolutionary stability of embryonic tunicate morphologies. – TED (Tunicate Evo devo)
vertebrate sister group, ascidian embryos show exceptional morphological stability since the Cambrian, over
Dynamic Matching and Interactions: Theory and Experiments – DynaMITE
The objective of this project is to develop a new generation of theoretical models of dynamic matching, voting and networks by embedding static decisions in dynamic models represented by Markov processes. The project is subdivided into three sub-projects. Dynamatch is devoted to the study of dynamic matching problems., Dynavote focuses on dynamic voting models. Dynanet is a project on dynamic formation of networks.
Adaptation to variable pesticide doses – SilentAdapt
The massive use of pesticides since the 50's was a major revolution in our societies (agonomy, medecine). The evolution of resistance in treated organisms is a situation where the process of adaptation has the most immediate consequences on a massive scale. It is however often envisioned in a simplified ecological context. The originality of this project is to focus on the impact of gradient and low doses of pesticide.
Lewis acids: acidity scales and catalytic activity – ALEA
Lewis superacids : acidity scales and catalytic activity

The ALEA deals with synthetic and physicochemical aspects of catalytic reactions with Lewis superacids, which have shown to present an exceptional activity in the electrophilic activation of organic reactions and in catalysis.
The ALEA project has also opened interesting new perspectives concerning Lewis acid supported catalysts; it allowed for industrial contracts and for academic collaborations.
