Call for projects – FLASH: Pox virus in farmed ruminants
France, like Europe, is facing the emergence on its territory of highly contagious animal viral diseases caused by poxviruses, mainly affecting ruminant livestocks. Recent outbreaks, such as lumpy skin disease in cattle, have revealed the vulnerability of livestock systems and highlighted the need for the rapid availability of robust scientific knowledge and operational tools to anticipate, monitor and control these health crises, in order to limit their economic and social impacts.

Greenland now occupies a unique place at the crossroads of major scientific issues and growing geopolitical tensions. A key territory for the understanding of global climate and environmental dynamics, it is also affected by rapid transformations affecting its ecosystems, natural resources, infrastructure and inhabitants, the majority of whom are indigenous.
