Digital Materials - An industrial Reality In Motion – RealIMotion
Many strategic industries rely heavily on metallurgical products. Faced with intense environmental and societal expectations and global competition, these sectors demand more precise models to predict microstructural changes during thermomechanical treatments. New efficient numerical methods are targeted. Numerous industrial applications are involved in the project.
The unequal impact of matching students with schools – MATCHINEQ
This ANR project investigated the unequal impact of matching students with schools. Many countries implemented policies to increase the freedom of choice, giving rise to mechanisms that allocate students to certain schools. A concern here is that the benefit of these choices might not be equally distributed. We investigate such concerns and potential solutions in three different contexts: school choice in Chile, centralized college matching in France and decentralized college matching in Canada.

Access ERC Starting Call for Projects 2023
The purpose of the ACCESS ERC call is to support young talents in the preparation of their first application to the ERC Starting Grants, by enabling them to strengthen their CVs, so that they can be competitive in this specific call. The Access ERC programme consists in financing two-year (24 months) post-doctoral contracts for young PhDs hosted in French research labs.
European research funding programmes: The ANR’s actions to improve French participation
European research and innovation framework programmes, such as Horizon Europe, provide unique funding opportunities for France and its research teams. That is why the Ministry of Higher Education and Research rolled out a National Action Plan to improve French participation in these programmes: the PAPFE. An overview of the actions proposed by the French National Research Agency (ANR) within the framework of this plan, with two schemes created in 2022.

Transnational call for proposals between Europe and China in the ERA-NET Cofund "Urban Accessibility and Connectivity"
In the framework of the ERA-NET Cofund Urban Accessibility and Connectivity (EN-UAC), the ANR is launching, in collaboration with 8 European countries and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), a call for proposals , to fund research and innovation projects with the aim of developing policies for more sustainable urban mobility.
French Presidency of the Council of the European Union (FPCEU): ANR actions and events
The French Presidency of the Council of the European Union (FPCEU), being held from 1 January to 30 June 2022, is a major opportunity to strengthen the exposure of the French and European Higher education, research and innovation (HERI) community. In this context, more than 70 labelled events by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI) are held by organisations, operators or institutions. The French National Research Agency (ANR) organises and takes part in several FPCEU-labelled events. This is an opportunity to review the actions and instruments implemented by the ANR to strengthen European scientific collaborations.

Towards an Electric Dipole Moment (EDM) with atoms and molecules in Matrix (EDMMA) – EDMMA
EDMs are probes of choice for new sources of CP violation, complementary to accelerators. EDMMA developed a platform of Cs atoms trapped in cryogenic matrices (rare gases and parahydrogen): high density, inert environment, and optical addressing of 6s–6p transitions. The project aimed to identify trapping sites and relaxation/photobleaching mechanisms, then prepare spin readout (microwave/ESR) for future EDM measurements.
