optimising MOcvd / ald growth of Oxydes Nanostructures for solar photon conversion by combining modeling and in situ synchrotron X-ray and optical analysis – MOON
Our project aims at improving the basic knowledge of the nucleation process of oxide-based nanowires (NWs) and nanocrystalline thin films that should result in a breakthrough technology in the field o
multidisciplinary assessment and environmental improvement of neighborhoods – EUREQUA
The research question is: «How to bring forth a conception of the environmental quality of living that combines a renewed reflection on a) the materiality of the urban environment, b) sensitive and social approaches of relationship to the environment? «
modeling and simulation of Low DImensional QUAntum Systems – LODIQUAS
Also, this project will develop novel simulation tools, e.g. a “programme package” for the numerical simulation of general NLS in 1-, 2- and 3-d for the general use in the community. Such simulation
mode of action of small peptides in regulating developmental transcriptional programs – smORFpep
Some of non coding RNA contain short ORFs that are generally considered as non-functional. However, experimental evidences suggest that sORFs present in ncRNAs are functional and are translated into small peptides . The scientific aim of this project is to decipher the molecular and developmental functions of one of them..

in-SitU proBing of GLACier Ice for a better understanding of the Orbital Response of climate
distributed clock synChrONization for future loNg distancE Quantum crypTography – CONNEQT
In the process of economic globalization, information security has become more and more important for both organizations and individuals. Security of classical cryptography is based on the complexity
cOmetary GRains and Early Solar System Evolution: Isotopic analyses of cometary polar micrometeorites – OGRESSE
Extraterrestrial dust coming from the cometary reservoir have been identified in a collection performed at the vicinity of the polar station CONCORDIA (central regions of Antarctica). The aim of this project is to analyze their chemical and isotopic composition to shed light on the astrophysical context of the solar system birth.
beta-CN(94-123), a bioactive peptide from fermented milks strengthening intestinal protection: Promising new treatments for intestinal diseases – b-ACTIPROD
The peptide ß-CN(94-123) found in fermented milks, corresponds to the sequence (94-123) of bovine ß-casein. This peptide is a potential gut health-enhancing component, particularly on the intestinal goblet cells. The objective of the b-ACTIPROD project was to evaluate the usefulness of this peptide, tested alone or in a dairy matrix , in the prevention of intestinal diseases.
