Preannouncement: Call for research projects on Charcot disease – ALS
Charcot's disease, also known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), is a neurodegenerative disease caused by the progressive degeneration of the central and peripheral motor neurons in the brainstem and spinal cord that control voluntary muscles. It is the most common of the rare diseases, with 4 new cases diagnosed each day in France. Life expectancy is 3 to 5 years after the onset of the first symptoms, and to date, there is no cure available.

Quantum Technologies: pre-announcement of the QuantERA’s 5th Call for proposals
The QuantERA III consortium, coordinated by the National Science Centre (NCN), and with the ANR as one of its partners, will soon launch a new call for proposals to fund transnational research projects in Quantum Sciences and Technologies, in support to the actions of the Quantum Technologies Flagship. Through this Call, the QuantERA III consortium aims at stimulating and intensifying research and innovation in the field of Quantum Technologies, contributing to the Strategic Research and Industry Agenda of the European Quantum Technology community. The call will gather 34 funding organisations, including the ANR, in 29 countries.
Pre-announcement: 4th edition of the Transnational Call from the European Partnership Driving Urban Transitions - 2025
Coming from the Horizon Europe Partnership scheme and related to the JPI Urban Europe, the European Driving Urban Transitions Partnership gather a massive community: 28 countries and around 67 partners to support the European innovation ecosystem in the urban area. The aim of the DUT Joint Call 2025, is to fund transnational research and innovation projects on urban challenges, at an international level in order to help cities in their transition to a more sustainable economy.
4th transnational call for proposals 2024 of the European Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CETP)
The fourth Joint Call 2025 of the Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CETPartnership), co-funded by the European Commission under the Horizon Europe programme, brings together over 35 funding agencies from 28 countries. This coordinated effort aims to support innovative projects that advance the energy transition. In France, the French National Research Agency (ANR) and the Pays de la Loire Region Council are participating of this call.

The Belmont Forum, an international partnership of research funding organizations of which ANR is a member, is launching a call for proposals in the area of oceanic science. Funding agencies from Europe and Africa and JPI Climate are launching an international call for proposals to fund research projects and innovation, “Climate Services for Risk Reduction in West Africa”. The overall strategic aim of the CS4RRA initiative is to develop pathways to climate-resilience in Western Africa by contributing to long-term multinational cooperation.
