HERA 2023 Crisis – Perspectives from the Humanities
The Humanities in the European Research Area (HERA) Network in collaboration with CHANSE (Collaboration of Humanities and Social Sciences in Europe) is launching a new call for proposals: “Crisis – Perspectives from the Humanities”. We wish to invite transnational consortia to submit proposals for humanities-led research under this theme. Proposed research may draw upon insights and methodologies from a wide spectrum of arts and humanities disciplines. Although humanities-driven, consortia can involve contributions from other research domains where appropriate.

The overall objective of this research call is to increase understanding and preparedness for impending effects on animal health and the livestock industry caused by climate change and spread of anthelmintic resistance. L’appel à manifestation d’intérêt « IA-Cluster » s’inscrit dans la stratégie nationale pour l’intelligence artificielle, lancée en 2018 suite aux recommandations du rapport Villani, Donner un sens à l’intelligence artificielle : pour une stratégie nationale et européenne. La stratégie a été renforcée par une deuxième phase en 2021 adossée au Plan France 2030 et dotée de 1,5 milliards d’euros pour diffuser plus largement l’IA dans notre économie et notre société, notamment par la formation de davantage de talents pour développer et utiliser ces technologies intelligentes.

A crucial element, which requires further investigation, is the ecological connectivity, often highlighted in the design of MPAs and the guarantees of conservation success.
