Designed to improve France’s success rate in European Research Council (ERC) calls, Tremplin-ERC (T-ERC) is a funding instrument set up by ANR as part of its Work Programme 2025. T-ERC is open to all ERC research disciplines (LS, PE, SH).
2025 Bilateral collaboration JST-ANR based on CREST program
The signing of the bilateral agreement between the ANR and the JST (Japanese science and technology agency) for the promotion of scientific and technological cooperation has resulted in the opening up of the emblematic Japanese CREST programme (Core Research for Evolutionary Science and Technology) to the participation of French teams in Japanese projects. French teams are invited to participate in research projects in collaboration with one or more Japanese teams concerning one of the two following priority research areas:

Understanding the interactions between cardiovascular diseases and comorbidities and/or their therapeutic treatments (InterHeart) – ERA4Health 2025
The French Research Agency is participating to the Joint Transnational Call “InterHeart” launched under the umbrella of the Partnership ERA4Health (“Fostering a European Research Area for Health”). This call aims to support proposals studying the interactions between the cardiovascular system and the other organs/systems when at least one of the two presents a pathological state.

Call JPI JPND – Care 2025: Health and social care research with a focus on the moderate and late stages of neurodegenerative diseases
JPND launches this joint transnational call for proposals, in which ANR is participating, with the aim to improve the well-being of people with neurodegenerative diseases through medical sciences, social sciences and humanities research. More specifically, proposals will aim to increase understanding of the factors that hamper social inclusion, civic participation, dignity and quality of life of patients and their families and to develop more adequate concepts of easily accessible support for people with neurodegenerative diseases at moderate, advanced and end of life stages.

Call for proposals : ACCESS ERC STARTING GRANTS 2025
The purpose of the ACCESS ERC call is to support young talents in the preparation of an application to the ERC Starting Grants call, by enabling them to strengthen their CVs, so that they could be competitive in this specific call. The Access ERC programme consists in financing two-year (24 months) post-doctoral contracts for young PhDs hosted in French research labs.
