B cell signaling and Early Plasma Cell Fate Decision – CascadingPCdiff
Terminal B cell differentiation into Plasma Cell is a highly controlled process to regulate humoral response and failure to complete this cell fate transition predisposes towards immunodeficiency, lymphoproliferation and lymphoma development. Further understanding of the mechanisms by which external inputs regulate cell fate decision is of importance for therapeutic purposes and beyond this, learning to control activated B cells would almost certainly enhances development of vaccines.
Beta-particle Attachment to Molecules of Biological Interest – BAMBI
The complementarity of the two levels of theoretical mean-field description complemented by new gas phase experiments will contribute to a deeper understanding of the fundamental mechanisms underlying energy-selective dissociations of molecules of biological interest, dissociations mediated by the attachment of beta-particles of low energy.
Bio-based production of hydrocarbons using a new photoenzyme – PHOTOALKANE
blue light as a cofactor (Sorigué et al. 2017 Science 357, 903-907) opens new perspectives for the biological
Bitcoin User Network Analysis and Mining – BITUNAM
In this project, we analyze the data of Bitcoin transactions as it can be read in the Blockchain. The objective is to study Bitcoin as a socio-technical system, in a way similar to what can be done with Online Social Network platforms such as Facebook or Twitter.
Bivalve shell-based, high-resolution multi-proxy reconstruction of marine primary production – Pecten maximus, Bay of Brest – HIPPO
Despite the outstanding relevance of phytoplankton for the functioning of marine ecosystems and global climate, past primary production dynamics in the coastal zone is still not well characterized (time-series are usually too short and too sparse). It is therefore crucial to develop new tools that can provide reliable, temporally well-constrained, seasonally to inter-annually resolved data on past primary production dynamics in coastal nearshore environments based on shells of bivalve mollusks.
CHANGING PARADIGM IN DNP POLARIZING AGENTS DESIGN – CHARMING
Stabilized transient radicals as polarization agents
CREativity in Additive Manufacturing – CREAM
The objective of this ANR project is to propose a suite of tools and methods of creativity in Additive Manufacturing (AM) based on intermediate objects of AM, in order to promote awareness, creativity and organizational integration of the FA to the design teams.
CROss-modal registration in COrrelative Microscopies for VALvulopathy physiological characterisation – CROCOVAL
of microscopy technologies available for life sciences. Deciphering the fundamental process of cardiac
Challenges of the rise of wage labor iat the gates of Europe. The prism of Tangier – ENDLESS
The rise of wage labor, in the context of strong internal and external migration, raises the question of the international division of labor strategies of large multinationals working mainly for the European market, the attractiveness of a low wage cost for a population having mainly experienced informal activity, and the social and cultural effects of engaging in salaried industrial work for a female population long excluded from employment.
Chemistry for a 3D spintronics – C3DS
is exploratory, at the cross-roads of material science and spintronics. It is high risk/high-gain, promising
