A Comprehensive Redshift Survey of the Brightest Herschel Galaxies – Z-GAL
The proposed three years ANR project will accompany and support, through an effective partnership, a
A therapeutic target for ischemic related injuries, application to organ transplantation – KIRI
This project aims to design a new generation of pharmacological inhibitors capable of countering the consequences of an ischemic episode. They target a protein (serRS) that we have recently identified and implicated in the resistance of organs to ischemia. The clinical application is kidney transplantation.
A unique MR imager outside the laboratory: new horizons in agro-ecosystems – OutLabMRI
To better understand carbon sequestration in terrestrial agroecosystems, it is critical to locally measure both upward (xylem) and downward (phloem) sap flow rates in plants. In this context, MRI is a unique and powerful analytical tool if it can be moved outside of the laboratory. This project aims to develop such a sensor to measure both water content and sap flow rates in plants, locally and non-invasively, in their natural environments (in situ).
Adaptive Optics PSF Prediction – APPLY
A critical point when analyzing AO data concerns the separation of the instrument contribution from the intrinsic signature of the astrophysical signal. This can only be achieved by an accurate estimation of the instrument Point Spread Function (PSF). But deriving an accurate PSF model remains a challenge, and the lack of PSF knowledge often represents the main limitation when analyzing AO data.<br />This is the goal of APPLY: provide an accurate PSF model associated with each observation.
Agglomerated powders for thick ceramic coatings by solid-state dynamic spraying – CERASOL
The aim of the CERASOL project (ANR-19-CE08-0009) is to develop ceramic powders adapted to cold gas dynamic spraying known as “cold spray” process.
Air Laser-based TErahertz SpectroScopy of Explosives 2 – ALTESSE 2
can become operational in the short term. The ANR / ASTRID project ALTESSE 1 (2015 - 2018) revealed
Alerte Detection Drone: Identification & Tracking by fusION – ADDITION
"Global Security and CyberSecurity" of the AAPG ANR 2018. This project aims to develop a detection
An evolutionary perspective on meiotic kinetochore architecture and function in oocytes – EvoMeioForce
The overarching goals of our project are to determine how kinetochores, the attachment sites for microtubules on chromosomes, are assembled, attached, correctly oriented and put under tension in oocyte meiosis. Using two distantly related organisms, namely C. elegans and mouse, we aim to determine how characteristics of the meiotic kinetochore bring about the specific segregation patterns in meiosis.
Analysis and Separation of Complex signals: Exploiting the Time-frequency structure – ASCETE
In this project, our goal is to develop new reassignment techniques robust to noise and that applies in circumstances where the signal exhibits complex time-frequency patterns, such as interference. Meanwhile, neural network and deep learning approaches will also be investigated, to extract meaningful information from time-frequency representations.
