Planning and Learning to Act in Systems of Multiple Agents – plasma
The main idea presented in this proposal is that it is possible to reduce a multi-agent decision-making problem (such as a partially observable stochastic game) to a fully observable stochastic game, which is solved using generic algorithms based on recent advances in Artificial Intelligence. We focus on generic methods with theoretical guarantees since they are of particular interest in safety-critical systems that can affect human lives.

Designing n-type Zintl phases for thermoelectric power generation applications – DENZIP
The main objective of the project ANR PRCI « DENZIP », performed in collaboration with Dr. Umut Aydemir from Koç University in Istanbul (Turkey), is to identify and optimize novel n-type Zintl phases for energy conversion applications by thermoelectric effects.
Time in the Wild: Mastering time during real world navigation – WildTimes
WildTimes aims at an understanding of time perception during real-world navigation, and asks how the human brain navigates time during complex travels. With transportations, spatial distances become less relevant and the travel duration become a crucial commodity. Using a combination of real train travel situations, lab experiments, and virtual reality, WildTimes will inform perceived level of comfort during travel, and decision processes when choosing specific travel routes.
Dissecting the molecular interactions of mitochondrial glutaredoxin S15 in plants – mitoglu
Several metabolic pathways and cellular processes in plants depend on the functioning of iron-sulfur (Fe-S) proteins, whose cofactors are assembled through dedicated assembly machineries present in the cytosol, plastids and mitochondria. To cite only a few examples, Fe- S proteins are present in the photosynthetic and respiratory electron transfer chains and they are needed for sulfur and nitrogen assimilation, or co-enzyme synthesis such as biotin and lipoic acid.
Operads, Calculus and Homotopy theory methods in Topology – OCHoTop
This proposal addresses problems of topology, in the field of fundamental mathematics. The general purpose of our project is to develop applications of operads (an algebraic device) for the definition of invariants associated to links, manifolds and stratified spaces (classical objects of topology).
Capture of the operational Traces of the company’s actors to build human Capital and define the winning Processes – CaTCaP
Learning and evolution of actors' practices, based on individual and collective competencies
Structure and function of endogenous TFIID-containing complexes – PICen
TATA-box Binding protein (TBP) is delivered to gene promoters by either TFIID or SAGA complex. These complexes not only nucleate PIC formation, but have been suggested to function also as a transcriptional co-activators by interacting with transcription activators. Importantly, the structure of native PICs is not known, leaving open the possibility that the composition and architecture of in vivo assembled PICs may differ from that reconstituted in vitro.
