Control of type A Influenza virus Propagation and Immune Responses: Investigating the role of NCOA7-Alternative Start – CAIPIRINAS
Influenza viruses are major pathogenic agents. Current strategies to circumvent influenza infection involve the vaccination against seasonal viruses and few antiviral drugs, with limited efficiency. A better understanding of influenza A virus propagation in infected hosts and its control by the immune system is therefore essential to develop future therapeutic strategies. In this context, CAPIRINAS proposes to study in depth the role and mechanism of action of the antiviral protein NCOA7-AS.
Sphingosine-1-phosphate Signaling in the Peripheral Vasculature. – SphiPerVasc
The objective of this project is to define how sphingosine 1-phosphate (S1P) signaling is elicited to regulate resistance artery function and assess if deregulated S1P production contributes to the development of hypertension. To this end we will evaluate vascular function, tissue perfusion, blood pressure, and organ injury in the context of temporal or spatial deficiency in S1P production or S1P receptor (S1PR) expression in mice.
Light Induced CO2 2-Electron Activation and Mechanistic Insights – LOCO
Scientists are urged to produce sustainable energy vectors based on the solar conversion of CO2 to energy-rich synthons. We have witnessed a prolific number of new electro- and photo-catalysts for the reduction of CO2. However, we are far from having in hands solutions to deploy on a large scale. Understanding photophysical events in multi-electron catalysis is of primordial importance and stand as the bottleneck in the optimization process for efficient photochemical reduction of CO2.

InGaN nano-pyramid-based Multi-terminal multi-junction Solar cells – INMoSt
The purpose of INMoSt is the realization of low-cost, high-efficiency, multi-junction solar cells using a single material family, namely III-nitride semiconductors. This target becomes possible by combination of a series of innovative technologies. <br />The first milestone will be the demonstration of beyond-state-of-the-art, free-standing, and flexible InGaN-based SCs. The ultimate goal will be the fabrication of a stack of such SCs, using a process fully compatible with conventional IC technology.
INTerface reactivity, microstructure and stress Evolution during thin film GRowth: multi-scALe modelling and experimental validation – INTEGRAL
The «INTEGRAL« project aims to develop a multiscale, robust and realistic modeling tool for the growth of thin metallic films by physical vapor deposition, and in particular under energetic conditions such as those of spray deposition. cathodic tube with the ultimate aim of studying the processes of stress generation and relaxation.
Longitudinal monitoring of Attitudes towards a VAccine against COVID-19. – SLAVACO
Our main objective is to monitor the French population’s attitudes toward a COVID-19 vaccinand their determinants (including socioeconomic status, attitudes toward science and health authorities but also vaccine-critical mobilisations), with a focus on their potential politicization. We assume that hostile attitudes toward this vaccine may reflect VH in specific groups of people, while in other groups, they may be rooted in anti-vaccination and/or conspiracy feelings.

UPscaling and heat simulations for improving the efficiency of deep GEOthermal energy – UPGEO
In France, heating networks are largely dependent on fossil fuels (42%), and deep geothermal energy represents less than 5% of the energy mix of heating networks. Deployment of geothermal energy in large cities is limited by a geological risk, difficult to predict. UPGEO will work to develop a predictive numerical tool to perform thermo-hydro-mechanical simulations and assess the performance at a given location in Ile-de-France on its geothermal potential.
