French universities facing COVID – COVID-IN-UNI
year 2020 and will continue in the first half of 2021 if the working groups and actions on the management [...] based on an interview survey conducted in January 2021 in four universities chosen from the data collected
From health crisis to political crisis? A study on the politicization processes in France hit by the Covid-19 epidemic – COVIPOL
How is the health, economic and social crisis caused by Covid-19 affecting citizens' political attitudes and their relationship to voting and democracy?<br />This project aims at providing a better understanding of how crises change political attitudes, through an analysis of politicization processes related to the current health crisis. It starts from the central assumption that work is a main space of socialization to politics.
From local diversity to transnational institutionalization: The emergence of the European Unified Patent Court – UNIFIED
The UNIFIED project pursues research on a transnational institutional convergence in the context of geographically and legally fragmented judicial practices in Europe. In particular, the project focuses on an empirical case of an emergence of a European institution in a real life, the European Unified Patent Court (UPC) that will be exclusively competent for patent-related legal disputes Europe-wide.
From the Microbiome to the Ecosystem: Unraveling the Effects of Marine Protected Areas on Ecosystem Services through the Lens of Trophic Diversity – METRODIVER
Sustainable Development that will be launched in 2021.
Functional Acoustic Coatings with Soft Metamaterials – BRENNUS
The BRENNUS project aims to create passive devices adjusted to classical ultrasonic instrumentation (metasurfaces), which allow for spatial control of sound (focusing, vortex) over short distances (less than the wavelength). The constituent materials of these metasurfaces have very high acoustic indices and have been developed within the framework of soft matter engineering.
Functional aspects and physisopathological impact of intracytoplasmic lipid inclusions in mycobacteria – ILIome
Tuberculosis (TB) caused by the pathogenic bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis (M.tb), is the deadliest infectious disease worldwide. Treating TB takes a minimum of 6-9 months. The emergence of drug resistant strains amplifies the incidences of TB, mainly resulting in failure of treatment and death. There is thus an urgent need for novel therapeutic targets and approaches.
Functionalized Auto-Structured insulating composite materials Tailored by ElectRic field for stress grading in 3D integrated electronic modules – FASTER-3D
When polymer composites structured by inorganic particles in a graded or anisotropic ways enable to relax the severe electric field and thermal constraints at the origin of the reliability issues in electrical conversion systems
Fundamental, genetic and clinical aspects of male infertility due to severe sperm flagellar abnormalities – FLAGEL-OME
Although multifactorial, male infertility has a strong genetic basis, which has so far not been extensively studied. Previous work permitted to characterize and publish causative mutations in 9 genes. Here, the same consortium will leverage the previously acquired expertise and tools to further investigate the molecular basis of flagellogenesis and to translate this knowledge into actionable information and strategies to improve diagnosis and care of infertile patients.
Fungal communities associated with marine plastic waste and their bioremediation potential – MycoPLAST
Plastics debris pervades in our oceans and freshwater systems at an increasing accumulation rate. While identifying the major sources of plastics are critical, greater investigations on the plastic microbiome to characterize the whole microbial communities appear also essential. The major aim of MycoPLAST is thus to highlight specific microbial communities, and more precisely fungal communities, able to degrade plastics.
GET OP STAND OP : crossing Geochemistry, Exposure, healTh: Oxidative Potential, a first STANDardization before OPerativeness. – GET_OP_STAND_OP
Determination of the reliability of the oxidative potential as a relevant indicator of fine-particle-related health effects, a necessary step before its evaluation as a new metric for air quality regulation.
