Simulations and Observations of Uranus and Neptune atmospheric Dynamics – SOUND
Simulations and observations of Uranus' and Neptune's atmospheres to understand their atmospheric dynamics and climate.
Simulation and Imaging for Mitral Regurgitation – SIMR
Mitral insufficiency is the second most common cause of valve surgery in France. Repair is preferred to replacement when possible. Cardiac ultrasound allows routine assessment of the quality of correction, but it does not allow measurement of the biomechanical impact of interventions on the mitral apparatus. A better understanding of this impact, based on objective physical quantities, would allow optimization of repair techniques.

Silicon-based polymers by catalysed dehydropolymerisations – POLCADE
ALKALINE-EARTH METAL COMPLEXES: SYNTHESIS AND IMPLEMENTATION FOR THE PRODUCTION OF NEW SILICONE MATERIALS.
SiC/Si3N4 MATRIX FOR CMC 2700F : OPTIMIZATION OF A HYBRID PIP-CVI PROCESS AS A TECHNOLOGICAL SOLUTION TO WORK AT HIGH TEMPERATURES WITHOUT COLLAPSING – MATRIX_2
. It follows a previous ASTRID project (MATRIX, 2021 edition) which demonstrated a porous network of
Short time scale landscape evolution and topographic signature of extreme climatic and tectonic events – TOPO-Extreme
River terraces, knickpoints, alluvial fans and other morphological markers are routinely used to date and quantify landscape response to changes in climate or tectonics over long time-scale (>10.000 yr). However, those markers are rarely used to assess the natural variability of extreme events’ frequency and magnitude because both the formation and the evolution of those markers in response to internal or external solicitations remains poorly studied.
Shared-Control Algorithms for Human/Multi-Robot Cooperation – MULTISHARED
The goal of MULTISHARED is to significantly advance the state-of-the-art in multi-robot autonomy and human-multi-robot interaction for allowing a human operator to intuitively control the coordinated motion of multi-UAV group, with a strong emphasis on the division of roles between multi-robot autonomy and human intervention/guidance for providing high-level commands to the group while being most aware of the group status via VR and haptics technology.
Shaping inequalities or building social bonds? Ceremonial economy under and after socialism in Central Asia (1960s-2020s) – CEREMONIAC
The Ceremoniac project aims to analyse and understand the rationales behind the inflation of ceremonial expenditure in Central Asian societies from the end of the Soviet period until today. It aims at questioning the production or reinforcement of inequalities, generated by these practices while they remain powerful vectors of social cohesion.
