Tremplin – ERC Advanced Grant (T-ERC AdG) 2026

The T-ERC instrument aims to:

• encourage scientific excellence by supporting high quality applications;
• strengthen French participation and increasing France’s rate of success in upcoming ERC calls;

This “Tremplin-ERC advanced grant” (T-ERC AdG) call is intended for researchers who did not receive funding from the ERC Advanced Grants despite having submitted a top-quality project (ranked A after the second evaluation step).

The goal is to give researchers a leg up when it comes to submitting a new application to the ERC Consolidator Grant or Advanced Grant call, thereby giving them firm foothold from which to succeed. Projects are funded up to 116 000€ for a duration of 24 months.

ANR has made special arrangements to speed up decision-making and funding. The submission application in particularly has been streamlined, making use of application documents previously transmitted to the ERC.
