Ecophyto - Maturation

This call aims to support the development of products, technologies or services to reach a technological readiness level greater than or equal to 5, in order to propose innovative and sustainable solutions to reduce the use of phytosanitary products in agriculture.

Project proposals must address at least one of the following topics:

• Biocontrol, including the deployment of strategies such as crop protection auxiliaries, the use of chemical mediators at a landscapel level, sterile insect techniques, or the use of biological regulations provided by communities of microorganisms, macroorganisms or plants. This call is particularly encouraging projects that incorporate new business models.
   
• Decision support tools aiming at reducing the use of phyto-pharmaceutical products, based on the characterization and assessment of epidemiological risks helping to mobilize preventive approaches and taking into account impact assessments on health and environment. These tools could combine predictive models and networks of data field sensors.
