Call CHIST-ERA 2025 : Science in your own language (SOL)

The ANR participates in the call of the CHIST-ERA ERA-NET consortium (European coordinated research on long-term ICT and ICT-based scientific Challenges) bringing together 13 countries, with a budget of 7,15M€.

In this call, a new and emerging topic of ICT domain is addressed, namely:

“Science in your own language”

The aim of the call is to support highly innovative, international and multidisciplinary transformative research projects in ICST domain with potential for significant scientific and technological impacts.

A one-step submission process applies. The coordinator prepares a joint proposal, in English, for the whole consortium, using the template available on https://www.chistera.eu/call-2025-announcement and submit it via the online submission system of CHIST-ERA. 

Interested researchers are invited to start discussing possible projects with prospective partners and to use the Partner Search Tool available on the call page, and/or to publish an expression of interest on that tool.

For projects selected for funding, each partner of the consortium will be funded directly by its respective national funding organisation. Therefore, all national regulations apply. In particular, the French applicants must read the document entitled “Modalités de participation pour les Partenaires sollicitant une aide de l’ANR” available on this page.

Erratum 03.05.2025 : call text, page 12 sentence "Proposals requesting a contribution of 250K€ to 500 K€ would allow this call to be addressed appropriately.
