The full descriptions of these areas are provided in the annex outlining the modalities for French applicants. This cooperation, implemented within the CREST programme framework, which supports priority research objectives for Japan, aims to foster collaborative research whose results will lay the foundations for scientific and technological breakthroughs.
Project proposals should be led by a Japanese Principal Investigator and a French Principal Investigator. They will be evaluated via a peer-review procedure, successively by the ANR and the JST.
