Appel à projets "Nouveaux cursus à l'université" : seconde vague
L’action "Nouveaux cursus à l’université" vise à soutenir, dans le cadre du troisième Programme d’investissements d’avenir (PIA 3), les universités et les regroupements d’établissements qui souhaitent diversifier leur offre de formation afin de répondre aux enjeux auxquels est confronté le système français d’enseignement supérieur et à renforcer l’autonomie des établissements en matière de politique de formation.
Découverte de la voie catabolique complète des carraghénanes chez les bactéries marines
Les financements ANR du projet Blue enzymes (AAPG 2014) et du projet IDEALG (PIA Biotechnologies Bioressources) ont participé à la découverte chez les bactéries marines du système complet d’utilisation des carraghénanes, polysaccharides sulfatés majeurs des macroalgues rouges. Ces résultats ont été publiés dans Nature Communications par un consortium international coordonné par l’équipe Glycobiologie Marine (UMR 8227 – CNRS / UPMC) . Par une combinaison d’approches biochimique, cristallographique, transcriptomique, génétique et bioinformatique, ce système biologique complexe a été caractérisé à une échelle d’intégration inédite à ce jour en biologie marine. C’est une avancée majeure dans la compréhension des mécanismes moléculaires gouvernant le cycle du carbone dans les écosystèmes côtiers. C’est aussi une percée pour la biotechnologie bleue et notamment la valorisation de la biomasse algale.

Within the framework of the ERA-Net E-Rare-3, the French National Research Agency will launch, in collaboration with 18 countries (Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, The Netherlands and Turkey) the tenth call for funding multilateral research projects on rare diseases. The call will open on December 7, 2017.
