Pre-announcement: an international call for proposals on materials research will be launched in March 2019
In the framework of ERA-NET Cofund M-era.Net, the French National Research Agency (ANR), in partnership with 32 funding agencies from 24 different countries, will launch in March 2019 a new call for projects on materials science and engineering.

The partners for the Open Research Area (ORA) are pleased to announce their sixth joint call for proposals due to open April 2019 and to close late July 2019. This notice is being issued now to allow interested researchers to begin discussions with potential research partners in advance of the formal call for proposals.

Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games Security: launch of a JOP24 Flash call for projects by the ANR and SGDSN
The Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games will be held from 26 July to 11 August and 28 August to 8 September 2024 respectively. Their security, in a context of changing threats and risks, represents a major challenge for France. Research can contribute to meeting these challenges in providing new technological capabilities from innovative solutions linked to specific and dedicated research actions. In this context, the French National Research Agency (ANR) and the General Secretariat of Defence and National Security (SGDSN) are launching a Flash call for projects, whose objective is to develop the best technological solutions to meet the security challenges these major events pose. They also represent an opportunity for the security industry sector in terms of structuring, innovation development and international influence.

L’Agence nationale de la recherche (ANR) lance un appel Flash dans le domaine de la science ouverte. Prévu dans le cadre du Plan national pour la science ouverte et annoncé par la ministre Frédérique Vidal lors des Journées nationales de la science ouverte 2018, cet appel vise à demander à la communauté scientifique elle-même de proposer, domaine par domaine, discipline par discipline, spécialité par spécialité, comment elle peut appliquer les principes de la science ouverte à propos des données de la recherche.
Pre-announcement: JPICH Conservation and Protection Call
The Joint Programming Initiative Cultural Heritage and Global Change (JPICH) is pleased to announce a new funding opportunity for transnational proposals. The Conservation and Protection call will support research into strategies, methodologies and tools to safeguard and use the physical components of our cultural heritage. The call will open on 1<sup>st</sup> May 2019.
