Cerebellar molecular layer interneuron network activity and function during walking and obstacle crossing – WalkingCrossingNeurons
The cerebellum is one of the key brain regions involved in motor coordination. It is known that the cerebellum processes sensorimotor information to learn and refine the timing of movements. However, the cellular underpinnings of such sensorimotor input integration and processing remain largely unknown. By combining calcium imaging with electrophysiology and computational modeling, we propose to study the role the cerebellar circuit for sensorimotor integration.
Alterations of cerebral functional connectivity associated with persistent pain – PINCH
The field of pain needs a better characterization of the specific brain alterations associated with the different subtypes of chronic pain diseases in order to unravel the specific mechanisms underlying and develop the specific treatments. There is a strong need for cerebral bio-markers of the subtypes of chronic pain diseases.
Synergistic activation of nuclear receptors – SYNERACT
L’exposition humaine à des mélanges de contaminants nous a amené à étudier l’activation de de récepteurs nucléaires par des mélanges de composés environnementaux
Reaching a cell-type specific level of understanding in depression – DEPth
Depression, a recurrent mental illness, has been related to structural and functional changes in brain neurocircuitry. Among brain structures, the anterior cingulate cortex is critical for mood disorders and constitutes an important target for divulging the underlying mechanisms. However, one of the challenges in neuroscience is that brain structures include a variety of cell types and characterizing physiological and molecular traits of these populations is difficult, but should be considered.
Prenatal Exposure to Tobacco smoking and Air Pollution and Effects on offspring respiratory and neurodevelopmental outcomes: role of placental DNA methylation – ETAPE
About 11% of children in France are affected by asthma and 10% by neurodevelopmental disorders. Several toxicological and epidemiological studies show that in utero exposure to tobacco smoking and air pollutants imply developmental pulmonary and neurological toxicity and thus contribute to the etiology of child’s respiratory and neurodevelopmental disorders.
The lipidic purge of pesticides: physiological mechanisms and evolutionary conservation. – LIPIDIC_PURGE

Doping at the nanoscale – DONNA
The discovery of localized surface plasmon resonances (LSPR) in doped semiconductor nanocrystals (NCs) has opened a new field in plasmonics. As an emerging new class of plasmonic nanomaterials, doped
