‘Trans AT’ polyketide synthases (PKSs): studies of the mode of interaction between catalytic domains and their carrier protein-bound substrates (in cis/trans) – PKS-PPIs
Molecular-scale protein assembly lines (called ‘polyketide synthases (PKS)’) are responsible for the construction in bacteria of a large number of molecules (‘polyketides’) of therapeutic value. Our aim is to understand how these molecule factories operate on a detailed level, with a particular focus on elucidating how the individual protein ‘workers’ interact with each other.
what makes neonates walking? – neolocom
The ultimate goal of this proposal is to develop interventions for infants with locomotor disabilities that are more effective and can be initiated at birth. The first step is to establish with typica
trace-metal Elements, climatic Perturbations, Upwelling and REsources – ÉPURE
thinking global Service for persOnnal comPuter – SOP
Mobile phones and personal computers are getting more and more converging. However, on one hand the service/application access model on mobile phones has been designed to smooth this access to new use
seminal MOTility Imaging and MOdeling for automatized fertility assessment – MOTIMO
The goal of the MOTIMO project is to develop the concepts necessary to the design of automated fertility tests of animal semen samples. The turbulence of the semen liquid induced by spermatozoa motion
risk-based selection of constitutive models fot geotechnical analysis – RISMOGEO
Soil, as a typical natural material, has very complex behavior which is very difficult to be accurately modeled. In geotechnical engineering, about half of the accidents are caused by insufficient des
plasMon ASSisTed electro-optical modulatOR – MASSTOR
Growing needs for increased data traffic drive the development of CMOS based optical circuits that include various building blocks such as waveguides, couplers, sources, detectors and modulators, in t
photoSRM: optical fragmentation filtering for quantification by mass spectrometry of protein clinical biomarker in biological matrices – photo-SRM
Mass spectrometry is a powerful alternative for protein biomarkers in blood and urine. Photo-SRM lies in the specific laser photo-dissociation of peptides tagged with a chromophore. The aim is the improvement of specificity and detection level.
