ANTIPODE is a fundamental research project which aims to deeply understand the formation of III-V/Si semiconductor interfaces in order to better control the defect generation at the interface during epitaxial growth. Agromining of strategic metals from contaminated matrices – AGROMINE
AGROMINE is the conception of agro-metallurgical production chains based on the culture of hyperaccumulator plants on contaminated matrices (soils, wastes) or naturally rich in metals (ultramafic soils), to produce high value metal compounds. These chains are developed for nickel (Ni) and cobalt (Co), metals of high strategic importance. Based on a previous work devoted to the synthesis process of a nickel salt (ANSH) from the biomass of A. murale, they combine agromining and hydrometallurgy.

Antimicrobial plant phenolic compounds for food preservation – ACTIPHEN
ACTIPHEN aims at assessing the potential of plant extracts containing antimicrobial phenols with a molecular mass between 150 and 3,000 g.mol-1 for food preservation. This choice is based on the following observations: <br />- (i) antimicrobial activity of plant phenols has been less studied than their antioxidant activity; <br />- (ii) essential oils are the plant extracts which were the most studied for their antimicrobial activity.
