XopAC-triggered vascular immunity in plants – XOPAQUE
The phytopathogenic bacterium Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris (Xcc) is the causal agent of black rot in Brassicaceae (Cabbages, turnip, radish, Arabdopsis,...). To infect the plant, Xcc injects type III proteins in the plant cell to manipulate plant physiology and/or immunity. In the frame of the ANR Xopaque, we will search for xopAC targets in Arabidopsis plants resistant or susceptible to Xanthomonas.
Why are all spinal motor neurons not affected by neurodegeneration? Testing the hyperexcitability hypothesis – HYPER-MND
Is Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) due to an hyperexcitability of motoneurons? The often proposed hypothesis according to which the selective degeneration of motoneurons is due to hyperexcitability has never been demonstrated.

their achievements. One very characteristic feature of finite automata is that, in contrast with [...] natural language processing. This implies that its features should be accessible at different levels of
Unusual metal / ligand interactions supported by donor buttresses – MeLiBo
Thanks to a joint experimental / theoretical approach, it is possible to identify and study new metal / ligand bonding modes. The ensuing complexes feature original properties that we seek to exploit, in particular in catalysis
Unravelling Genome Biology through a unique combination of comparative Genomics, functional Genomics and population Genomics (3G) – GB-3G
Study of cell biology and genome evolution through a combined approach of comparative genomics, functional genomics and population genomics applied to a poorly studied yeast clade; the Lachancea
Unified Modelling Platform for Building and Systems Energy Efficiency – PLUMES
PLUMES aims at significantly contributing to the enhancement building modeling and simulation tools interoperability enhancement, and to improve connectivity of modeling and simulation tools to the other tools of the building life cycle. To this end, PLUMES proposes a unified methodological framework and a unified software platform enabling for building models reuse, capitalization and sharing.
Understating the Pathogenicity of Entamoeba Using Comparative Transcriptomics and Phylogenomics – GENAMIBE
Entamoeba histolytica is the agent of human amoebiasis (dysentery and liver abscess). Two closely related species, E. dispar and E. moshkovskii are non-pathogenic and produce asymptomatic infections. What lead to their dramatically different clinical outcomes? We address this question from transcriptomic (i.e. RNA) and genomic (i.e. DNA) perspectives.
