Rheology, wetting and drying of human blood. – D-Blood
In the past, confessions and testimonies were sufficient to convince magistrates and members of the jury. Nowadays, the “scientific evidence” has become a basic element for criminal investigations. With an objective of investigation costs savings and manpower savings, a quick orientation for the investigators based on an accurate age determination of the bloodstain is inestimable. In order to improve forensic protocol, fundamental knowledge are requested on the blood physical properties.
Respiratory Syndrome Linked Pathogens Multiplex Detection and characterization – ReSynPlex
Development of a respiratory syndrome diagnostic test using multiplex detection and characterization
Resources and Enery from by-products for firing clay products – RESPECTc
sound energy and mass balances. The support of ANR via a LabCom project is crucial for a long term effort
Regulation of Immune Responses by Proteoglycan/Chemokine interactions: from structural to in vivo approaches – ChemImmun
Most chemokines bind not only their specific receptor, but also components of the extra-cellular matrix, becoming immobilized. This immobilization process drives cell motility (haptotaxis) and promotes synchronous cell-adhesion in spatially confined compartments.
Reconfigurable Colloidal Plasmonic Circuits – PlaCoRe
functionalized plasmonic tips obtained as a part of the ANR PLASTIPS project (2009-2013). The second one will
Realization and perception of French /R/ – REPER
Standard French /R/ is - like most rhotics - characterized by a great deal of variability. According to the literature, its different realizations are mainly due to proprieties of contiguous phonemes and to its position in the word. These accounts leave unexplained a great deal of realizations labeled as «free variants«. These troubles in understanding variations of French /R/ imply for example that learners of French have great difficulties with the acquisition of this sound
Real-gas Effects on Fluid Injection: a Numerical and Experimental study. – REFINE
The present proposal concerns the propulsion with application to the automotive and aerospace science and technology. The need for higher efficiency and lower emission levels leads to increase pressure i.e. to reach supercritical properties of fluids. The objective of REFINE is to build a simple well-controlled test-bench able to study a fluid injection under sub-, trans- and super-critical conditions and to associate experimental and numerical diagnostics to deliver the finest information.
Prostate exposition to chlordecone and molecular disruption related to tumor promotion. – CHLORPROST
sub-tissue level. This point is related to the program ANR-11-CESA-0017 / HEPATOCHLOR that develops this technique
Preparation of Carbo- and Heterocycles via novel Environmentally Friendly Radical Processes. – UZFUL-Chem
Preparation of Carbo- and Heterocycles via new, environmentally friendly processes in radical chemistry
Predictive and patient-specific numerical simulations of endovascular interventions – ENDOSIM
In this project, we develop a comprehensive simulation method based on Finite Element Analyses (FEA) to predict in silico the outcome of the different steps of an endovascular intervention for aortic aneurism repair (EVAR). The potential of the method is shown on different clinical cases, highlighting the very good predictive capability even in very complex interventions.
