Food Systems and Climate (FOSC)
The new Horizon 2020 ERA‐NET‐Cofund on Food Systems and Climate (FOSC) opened its trans‐continental call for research proposals in the field of food systems and climate. The call will support basic and applied research and is focused on the interactions between climate change and food systems: assessing the consequences of climate change on agri‐food markets and developing sustainable and resilient food value chains in the context of changing food needs and patterns (diets).
The call aims to support scientifically excellent, trans‐continental research, development and innovation projects that contribute to the knowledge base on food systems and climate change.
The countries and agencies participating in this call are:
European funding organizations from: Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Turkey, United Kingdom
African funding organizations from: Algeria, Burkina Faso, Egypt, Ivory Coast*, Kenya, Morocco *, Senegal, South Africa
Latin American funding agencies from: Brazil *, Honduras, Panama
* countries are not eligible for EC contribution.

The project must be submitted by the coordinator in electronic form on the website accessible via www.foscera.net, before the deadline. The project must be written on the form also available on the website. The call document, national rules and contact points for participating countries are also available on the project site.
