Résumé de soumission

FIT offers large-scale state-of-the-art wireless, sensing and mobility infrastructures for any builder of tomorrow's systems and services, who wish to try out, test and validate his/her solution before implementing it in real-life. FIT platforms are located across France: in Paris, Lille, Strasbourg, Lyon, Grenoble and Sophia Antipolis. They offer easy access, a library of tools and online support for wireless and wireless sensor networks including robots. Tranche 1 was successfully completed in 2015 with the finalization of the last deployments, the opening of an additional virtualized cloud platform, an increased number of users, numerous partnerships and the labeling of FIT as an IR (“Infrastructure de Recherche”). FIT has now entered into its functional phase (“Tranche 2”). Besides technical monitoring and improvements, efforts have been put on dissemination, new partnerships and sustainability of the platform. In this context, a partnership with GRID 5000 has been initiated to build a collaboration towards a TGIR (Très Grande Infrastructure de Recherche) and an ESFRI (European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructure) under the umbrella of Allistene.
