Searching for the ORigin of the DINoflagellates in the Acritarch Representatives – ORDINAR

We will combine organic geochemistry, micro-infra-red spectroscopy, culturing and genetic techniques, and microscopic analyses (optical, TEM, SEM) to determine the biological affinities and the macromolecular characteristics of individual microfossils, including acritarchs and dinoflagellates. Our study should resolve - at least partly - the question about the origin of the dinoflagellates, and the biological affinity of the acritarchs.

Second edition of the transnational call for projects of the European Partnership Driving Urban Transitions with a focus on urban areas

Coming from the Horizon Europe Partnership scheme and related to the JPI Urban Europe, the European Driving Urban Transitions Partnership gather a massive community: 27 countries and more than 60 partners to support the European innovation ecosystem in the urban area. The aim of the DUT Joint Call 2023, whom first stage will open on September 1st and will close on November 21 is to fund transnational research and innovation projects on urban challenges, at an international level in order to help cities in their transition to a more sustainable economy. Among Horizon Europe's 49 European Partnerships, DUT is the only one dedicated to urban transition.

Services climatiques : retour sur la réunion à mi-parcours des projets de l’ERANET ERA4CS

Pour préparer l’adaptation au changement climatique ou contribuer à son atténuation, il est nécessaire pour les institutions, entreprises ou encore citoyens, de disposer d’informations pertinentes et de prestations qui permettent d’évaluer le climat et d’apprécier les impacts du changement climatique sur les activités socioéconomiques et l'environnement. Des services climatiques se développent ainsi pour répondre à ces besoins. Afin de soutenir la recherche sur le développement de tels services, des partenaires de l’ERA-NET ERA4CS, dont l’ANR, ont lancé un appel à projets en 2017. Les responsables des 26 projets financés et les représentants des agences de financement et des communautés scientifiques concernées étaient réunis en septembre 2019, pour faire le point sur les résultats et les perspectives des travaux à mi-parcours et échanger sur les problématiques du domaine.

Setting up International Scientific Networks for the surveillance and diagnostics of antimicrobial resistance - JPIAMR-ACTION 2022

The French National Research Agency is joining the fifteenth call for proposals launched by the JPIAMR. This call will support the setting of international networks aiming to improve the surveillance and diagnostics of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). The total budget for this action will be of one million of euros.

Smart Urban Green: Governing conflicting perspectives on transformations in the urban rural continuum – SMART-U-GREEN

Landscape transformations in the urban-rural continuum come with conflicts involving many actors. Bottom-up initiatives, such as community gardens, introduce new forms of landscape management. These initiatives can result in conflicts or synergies, but in all cases they produce amenities to deeply modify the relation between the people and their close environment. Smart-U-Green tries to identify new forms of participatory governance that could become part of planning practices.
