Antibiotic Resistance: Coordinating Research at the Supra-national Level
The first ever World Antibiotic Awareness Week is currently underway. Today also happens to be European Antibiotic Awareness Day. These campaigns, initiated respectively by the World Health Organisation and the European Centre for Disease Control, are an opportunity for ANR to highlight its involvement in the Joint Programming Initiative “Antimicrobial Resistance” (JPI AMR).
Antimicrobial resistance: BEAM Alliance recommends ten measures to support innovative SMEs
Selected in the JPI AMR 2016 call for transnational working groups, Beam Alliance represents approximately 50 European SMEs developing innovative products in the field of antimicrobial resistance. In order to support SMEs and their R&D activities, BEAM Alliance recommends ten strategic measures intended for stakeholders (financing agencies, international networks, governments, etc.).

The bronze bell (22% wt Sn - a / d phases) is a musical and communication instrument, but also by its ornamental epigraphy, a work of art. It is a historical and cultural heritage to be preserved. From its implementation, the bell is subjected to a physicochemical alteration due to an aggressive environment, and mechanical to ring it. Proposing a micro-infiltrating mechanism of its alteration and quantifying the impact on its sound qualities is a major issue for the bell conservation.

Belmont Forum and JPI Climate: launching of an international call on climate services
ANR, in collaboration with partners from twelve countries, has just launched a transnational call for proposals on the role of inter-regional links in climate variability and predictability. This call comes within the framework of a partnership between the Belmont Forum – which brings together the world's main funding agencies around the theme of global environmental changes – and the Joint Programming Initiative on climate (JPI Climate). The deadline for pre-proposal submission is set at 1st June 2015.

BiodivERsA and the Water JPI are pleased to pre-announce that they will soon launch a joint call for research and innovation projects on: Conservation and restoration of degraded ecosystems and their biodiversity, including a focus on aquatic systems.
BiodivRestore transnational joint call on “Biodiversity and Climate Change” in the frame of BiodivERsA and Water JPI partnerships
ANR joins the BiodivERsA and Water JPI partnerships to launch BiodivRestore call for proposals, which is cofunded by the European Commission, to fund transnational research proposals on “Conservation and restoration of degraded ecosystems and their biodiversity, including a focus on aquatic systems”. 31 national/regional funding organisations from 27 countries are joining this call co-funded by the following members’ countries: Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal (including Azores), Romania, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, and Tunisia.
