4th edition of the Transnational Call from the European Partnership Driving Urban Transitions - DUT 2025
Supported by the European Commission as part of the Horizon Europe programme, the fourth joint call for proposals from the Driving Urban Transitions (DUT) partnership continues the work of the JPI Urban Europe initiative. Bringing together 28 countries and 67 partners, it supports the European innovation ecosystem in the urban field for the fourth consecutive year. In France, the National Research Agency (ANR) participate in this call by funding the french partners.
African-European call for proposals "Climate Services for Risk Reduction in West Africa (CS4RRA)" – 2026
Funding agencies from Europe and Africa and JPI Climate are launching an international call for proposals to fund research projects and innovation, “Climate Services for Risk Reduction in West Africa”. The overall strategic aim of the CS4RRA initiative is to develop pathways to climate-resilience in Western Africa by contributing to long-term multinational cooperation.
20 ans au service de la recherche océanique
En amont de la 3e Conférence des Nations Unies sur l’Océan (UNOC3) qui se tiendra à Nice en juin, l’ANR présentera le 4 juin, dans le cadre du congrès One Ocean Science, son 20e Cahier consacré à l’Océan, fruit d’une vaste rétrospective couvrant deux décennies de soutien à la recherche française en sciences marines.

Call JPI JPND – Care 2025: Health and social care research with a focus on the moderate and late stages of neurodegenerative diseases
JPND launches this joint transnational call for proposals, in which ANR is participating, with the aim to improve the well-being of people with neurodegenerative diseases through medical sciences, social sciences and humanities research. More specifically, proposals will aim to increase understanding of the factors that hamper social inclusion, civic participation, dignity and quality of life of patients and their families and to develop more adequate concepts of easily accessible support for people with neurodegenerative diseases at moderate, advanced and end of life stages.

Le Point de Contact National (PCN) Santé a organisé, en collaboration avec l'Agence nationale de la recherche (ANR), un webinaire le 2 décembre 2024 dédié à la présentation des différents appels à projets transnationaux en Santé lancés par des programmes internationaux dans lesquels l’ANR est partenaire.
"Les défis de la ville en transition" : deux jours de discussions consacrées à la ville durable
Les 24 et 25 septembre dernier, l’ANR organisait avec l’Ademe un colloque consacré aux défis de la ville en transition » pour dresser le bilan de 15 années de soutien à la recherche sur la « ville durable », un concept désignant une ville vertueuse et résiliente, désirable et inclusive, réduisant au plus bas ses externalités négatives.
L'ANR participe aux 40 ans de l’Ifremer et met le cap sur l’année des océans
Le 12 octobre à Brest, Patrick Hetzel, Ministre de l'Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche, Fabrice Loher, Ministre délégué à la Mer et à la Pêche, et 80 acteurs institutionnels, parmi lesquels Claire Giry, Présidente-directrice générale de l’Agence nationale de la recherche (ANR), ont répondu présent à l’invitation de l’Ifremer et participé à l’événement « Pourquoi pas l’Océan ? », organisé à l’occasion des 40 ans de l’Institut, avec le soutien de l’ANR. À quelques mois de l’année des océans, cet événement ouvre la voie vers le « One Ocean Science Congress » et la troisième Conférence des Nations Unies sur l'Océan qui se tiendront à Nice en juin 2025.
Third edition of the transnational call for projects of the European Partnership Driving Urban Transitions with a focus on urban areas - DUT
Coming from the Horizon Europe Partnership scheme and related to the JPI Urban Europe, the European Driving Urban Transitions Partnership gather a massive community: 27 countries and more than 60 partners to support the European innovation ecosystem in the urban area. The aim of the DUT Joint Call 2024, whom first stage will open on September 2 and will close on November 14 is to fund transnational research and innovation projects on urban challenges, at an international level in order to help cities in their transition to a more sustainable economy. Among Horizon Europe's 49 European Partnerships, DUT is the only one dedicated to urban transition.
Mitigation and Adaptation in Cultural Heritage Landscapes: Lessons from Transhumant Pastoral Systems for Managing Novel Climate Risks – Pasture Adaptation
As our climate changes, it is important to reinforce the adaptive capacity of heritage livelihood systems and to recognize that cultural heritage offers capacity and lessons for both mitigation of climate change and adaptation. We examine landscapes of pastoralism in France, Norway, and Spain to understand: how they are threatened by climate change ; what they can tell us about ecological knowledge and social organization for climate resilience ; how can we sustain them.
