FACCE SURPLUS: strengthening European collaborative research for sustainable agriculture
The objective of FACCE SURPLUS is to support sustainable intensification of agricultural production. As part of the Joint Programming Initiative on Agriculture, Food Security and Climate Change (FACCE-JPI), this research funding programme brings together many European partners, including the French National Research Agency (ANR). Following a first call for international proposals launched in January, 67 pre-proposals were submitted in the first stage by teams from 21 countries.
French Presidency of the Council of the European Union (FPCEU): ANR actions and events
The French Presidency of the Council of the European Union (FPCEU), being held from 1 January to 30 June 2022, is a major opportunity to strengthen the exposure of the French and European Higher education, research and innovation (HERI) community. In this context, more than 70 labelled events by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI) are held by organisations, operators or institutions. The French National Research Agency (ANR) organises and takes part in several FPCEU-labelled events. This is an opportunity to review the actions and instruments implemented by the ANR to strengthen European scientific collaborations.
Horizon Europe : lancement d’une consultation publique sur l’agenda stratégique de recherche et d'innovation du futur partenariat européen ERA4Health
Dans le cadre d’Horizon Europe, programme-cadre de recherche et d’innovation de l'Union européenne pour la période 2021-2027, de nouveaux partenariats voient le jour. C’est dans ce contexte que le partenariat européen ERA4Health « renforcer les domaines de recherche en santé », dont le lancement est prévu en 2022, a élaboré une première version de son agenda stratégique de recherche et d’innovation (SRIA) et invite les différentes communautés scientifiques, associations de santé et autres parties prenantes à réagir sur ce document. La consultation est ouverte et accessible via un formulaire en ligne jusqu’au 29 octobre 2021.
Impact of diet on health: ANR announces the launch of a European call for proposals on biomarkers in nutrition and health
As part of its participation in the "Healthy Diet for a Healthy Life (HDL)" Joint Programming Initiative (JPI), the French National Research Agency (ANR) is launching a first European call for proposals in the field of biomarkers in nutrition and health. These biomarkers are crucial for investigating the impact of diet on health, in that they shed light on an individual’s diet and nutritional status, as well as on their present and past exposure to a particular chemical compound. The proposal submission deadline is 9 June 2014.

JPI Climate: transforming Europe’s future through climate issues

JPI OCEANS: Launching of a first international call for proposals in the area of marine environment contaminants
ANR, in collaboration with its European partners, has just launched a brand new international call for proposals on the ecological aspects of microplastics in the marine environment. This call comes under the Joint Programming Initiative "JPI OCEANS". The deadline for submitting projects is 31st March 2015.

Launching of an international call on the social challenges of extended working life
The French National Research Agency (ANR) is launching, together with partners from ten European countries and Canada, a new call for transnational proposals on extended working life and its interaction with health and well-being. This call comes within the framework of the Joint Programming Initiative “More Years Better Lives” that ANR has joined recently. Deadline for proposal submission: 2<sup>nd</sup> June 2015.
