"Mechanisms and measurement of disease progression in the early phase of neurodegenerative diseases” - EU Joint Programme - Neurodegenerative Disease Research (JPND)
In the context of ERA-NET JPcofuND 2 (JPND), ANR launches a joint transnational call with the aim of improving the understanding of disease mechanisms and advancing measurability of disease progression at early and pre-symptomatic stages of neurodegenerative diseases.
"Setting Up European or International Scientific Networks" At a Glance
"Setting Up European or International Scientific Networks" (MRSEI), created in 2015, supports the creation of transnational networks coordinated by French researchers. The instrument encourages French participation in European and international calls, with the ultimate aim of giving the country’s research greater international visibility. The third edition of this call for proposals opened recently (<u>submission deadline set for 6 June 2016</u>). The following is a look back at the call’s main features:

#CreaMaker: assessment of co-creativity in a maker-based activity combining tinkering and digital fabrication
Creativity has been mostly studied from an individual point of view in the field of psychology. Nevertheless, there is a growing number of studies in the field of education in team-based activities in different types of creative projects, such maker based education. The ANR #CreaMaker project aims to advance the knowledge of creativity and co-creativity process not only in same-age teams but also in intergenerational ones, in ill-defined problem solving with educational robotic technologies.

The ANR participates in the 10th call of the CHIST-ERA ERA-NET consortium (European coordinated research on long-term ICT and ICT-based scientific Challenges) bringing together 19 countries, with a budget of 11M€. This project meets the performance needs of photodetectors (response time, sensitivity, etc.) for applications such as 3D vision, for example facial recognition or navigation aid, medical imaging, etc. but also for potential new applications in cryptography or photonics / quantum optics.
