Adaptation of the automation strategy of autonomous vehicles (levels 3-4) to driver needs and driver state under real conditions – AutoConduct
Based on a users-centered approach, the AutoConduct project aims at designing a new Human-Machine Cooperation strategy adapted to the driver's state. This project proposes to provide advanced monitoring of the driver's state by combining different diagnostics in order to adapt the management of interactions between the driver and the automations of the vehicle in real time.

Modification of parton showers in the Quark-Gluon Plasma – HotShowers
Modification of parton showers in the quark-gluon plasma<br />We explore the production and modification of QCD jets in heavy-ion collisions. In such collisions a state of matter known as the quark-gluon plasma (QGP) is formed. Hard scattered partons (quarks and gluons) suffer energy loss as they traverse the QGP. By examining the radiation pattern of such «quenched« jets, we learn both about QCD radiation, as well as about the properties of deconfined matter, as it existed in the early Universe.

Insecurity and spaces: social distribution and political participation – INSOCPOL
Crime-related insecurity is a major is-sue in political debates and public policies. Our goal is to show how this insecurity varies across spaces. The Paris Region is a suitable ground for such a project: victimisation rates and indicators of feelings of insecurity are higher there than their nationwide average and it includes a wide range of different spaces.
What kind of manager before age 40? Facts and words in four European countries – WOMAN
The purpose of this project is to study the mechanisms at work in the access, the exercise and the advancement of women in management positions during the first part of their career in four societal contexts (France, United Kingdom, Switzerland and Sweden). The objective is to explore simultaneously several interrelated levels of analysis – the individual, the organizational and the one of public policies – considering each level to impact on the gendered composition of management professions.
