Search for very light WIMP's with gaseous spherical detector – NEWS
Given the recent absence of evidence at LHC for SUSY, the dark matter, an essential ingredient to understand our Universe needs further investigation. In particular, in a number of new models, the preferred particle candidates are less massive than anticipated. The present project aims at building a 1.4 m diameter spherical gaseous detector to detect them. With sub-keV energy threshold, high pressure to 10 bar of H, He, Ne gas, such a detector will be able to address the 0.1-10 GeV mass range.
All OPTIcal hazardous GAs Sensor in infrared – OPTIGAS
The OPTIGAS project aims to develop all-optical fiber sensors in two infrared spectral windows ( 3-5 µm and 8-12µm) . The principle of this sensor is very versatile and can be adapted to various kinds of gases having spectroscopic signatures in atmospheric transparency windows .

REsistive Memories on FLEXible substrates – REFLEX
The project aims at the development of resistive memories on flexible substrate. With respect to standard memory technology used in RFID applications (Flash memory), resistive memories offer lower programming voltages (sometimes loxer than 1V) with a cheaper fabrication cost. Moreover the project focuses on the development of memory cells on plastic substrate allowing to bypass the use of a dedicated silicon chip embedding the memory functionnality.
Alloyed Materials for PHOtonics: exploring dielectric REsponse in group IV nanowires – AMPHORE

In [...] implementing telecommunication functionalities (1.3-1.8 µm range) in group IV materials even more urgent [...] photoluminescence proved that increasing the Ge fraction (xGe) in 2H-Si lowers the minimum of the conduction
Towards a typology of human impersonal pronouns – TypoImpers
This project investigates the syntactic and semantic properties of human impersonal pronouns such as Fr. on, Ge. man and Engl. one and compares them with impersonal uses of second person singular (you) and third person plural pronouns (ithey). Based on a sample of forty European and twenty non-European languages we aim to develop a typology of human impersonal pronouns. The crosslinguistic data will be made publicly available in an online database.
