La troisième édition de l’appel à projets « Ecophyto - Maturation » vise à promouvoir des projets de transfert de résultats de la recherche vers le monde socio-économique dans l’objectif d’une réduction de l’usage des produits phytopharmaceutiques et de leurs impacts. L’ouverture de l’appel est prévue mi-octobre 2022 pour un dépôt de lettres d’intention mi-décembre 2022 et une soumission des propositions détaillées mi-avril 2023.
Preannouncement of the 1st transnational call for proposals 2022 of the new European Clean Energy Transition Partnership
50 national and regional RTDI programme owners and managers from 30 countries are launching a joint transnational call for proposals to fund research and innovation projects related to energy transition. For France, the ANR will participate to the funding of this call with Ademe and the Région Pays de la Loire. This joint transnational call will be launched within the framework of the new European Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CETP). A webinar to present the call to the French community is scheduled the 19th September from 2 :00 to 4 :00 (Paris (UTC+2)).
Pre-announcement of the 1st transnational call for projects of the new European partnership Driving Urban Transition
In the framework of the new European partnership Driving Urban Transition, which is a continuation of the JPI Urban Europe, 41 European and international funding agencies from 27 countries will launch a joint transnational call for projects (on 21 September to fund research and innovation projects on themes related to sustainable urban development. On the French side, the ANR will participate in the financing of this call, jointly with the ADEME. A seminar to present the call to the French community will take place on Monday 26 September between 2pm and 5pm.
The purpose of the ACCESS ERC call is to support young talents in the preparation of their first application to the ERC Starting Grants, by enabling them to strengthen their CVs, so that they can be competitive in this specific call. The Access ERC programme consists in financing two-year (24 months) post-doctoral contracts for young PhDs hosted in French research labs.
The ANR launches in collaboration with the ERA-NET NEURON COFUND 2 a rapid action call for leading scientists in the field to establish community-led Working Groups dedicated to discuss research strategies on chronic pain. Networking groups should address cross-cutting challenges in the research field of chronic pain, to build knowledge on specific aspects, identify gaps, and find solutions for urgent issues such as interoperability of data and method harmonization. Proposals addressing hurdles and potential solutions to ensure the fruitful, homogeneous and inclusive translation of basic science into clinical practice are also within the scope of this call
ANR launches in collaboration with NSF, DOE and NIH (USA), BSF (Israel) and NICT (Japan) a call for research and data sharing projects in computational neuroscience.
The ANR participates in the Call Open & Re-usable Research Data & Software (ORD) of the CHIST-ERA ERA-NET consortium bringing together 11 countries, with a budget of 6 M€. The call announcement can be found under Call ORD on the official CHIST-ERA website: https://www.chistera.eu

Water4All 2022 Joint Transnational Call on “Management of water resources: resilience, adaptation and mitigation to hydroclimatic extreme events and management tools”
The Water4All partnership is starting in 2022 under the auspices of the European Union Horizon Europe programme for research and innovation, to concentrate research and innovation on water in Europe and beyond. Water4All’s Vision is to “boost the systemic transformations and changes across the entire research – water innovation pipeline, fostering the matchmaking between problem owners and solution providers for ensuring water security for all in the long term”.
The "Recherches participatives 1/ Participatory Research 1") call for proposals is part of the multi-annual SAPS programme (Sciences with and for society) which the ANR launched in 2021 with the ambition of amplifying the interactions between the academic sphere and the general public. The aim is to support and contribute to structuring "participatory science and research", a movement in which civil society stakeholders engage with researchers, individually or collectively, in producing knowledge that can be used for action and can play a substantial transformative role.
