Les oiseaux de Guyane à l’honneur grâce au projet FRAG&BINV
Dans le cadre du projet FRAGmentation & Biological INVasions - FRAG&BINV - un reportage photo sur les oiseaux de Guyane a été réalisé fin 2014. Il est actuellement à la une du journal du CNRS. Présentation de ce projet soutenu par l’ANR dans le cadre de l’ERA-NET Net-Biome.
L’ANR et la Fondation de Recherche pour l’Aéronautique et l’Espace (FRAE) renouvellent leur partenariat
A l’occasion d’un évènement organisé le 21 octobre par la Fondation de Recherche pour l’Aéronautique et l’Espace, Jean Perrot, le président de la FRAE et Michael Matlosz, le PDG de l’ANR ont renouvelé le partenariat liant la fondation et l’agence.
Generic Call 2015: Initial results published
Since 2014, the generic call for proposals groups together a large part of ANR's funding offering. The 2015 edition's initial results for the "Collaborative research projects", "Collaborative research projects involving enterprises" and "Young researchers" instruments were published today. These make up about 70% of the total budget dedicated by ANR dedicated to calls for proposals in 2015. Additional results will be regularly released until the year’s end from projects submitted under international agreements (International collaborative research projects funding instrument). These results will round out those released today.

Energies Marines Renouvelables : Lancement d’un appel à projets dans le cadre de l’action "Instituts pour la Transition Energétique" du Programme des Investissements d’Avenir
L’ANR en liaison avec l’association France Energies Marines (FEM) lance un appel à projets sur les Energies Marine Renouvelables. L’ambition de cet appel à projets est le développement de la filière française des Energies Marines Renouvelables par l’établissement de connaissances et d’outils pré compétitifs de recherche amont et industrielle.
2nd Franco-Mexican Forum for Research and Innovation
The Franco-Mexican Forum for Research and Innovation was held 9 and 10 July in Paris, two years after the first forum in Mexico City, which revived cooperation between the two countries. The forum was opened by the French Secretary of State for Higher Education and Research, Thierry Mandon. ANR was present at the event, promoting its successful partnership with the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT), co-funder of 19 Franco-Mexican research projects since 2009.
Deuxième Programme des Investissements d’Avenir : Ouverture de la deuxième vague d’appel à projets Recherche Hospitalo-Universitaire en Santé - RHU.
Lancé dans le cadre du Programme d’investissements d’avenir et opéré par l’Agence nationale de la recherche (ANR), l’appel à projets « Recherche Hospitalo-Universitaire en santé » (RHU) soutient des projets de recherche innovants et de grande ampleur dans le domaine de la santé. Afin de poursuivre et soutenir la dynamique observée à l’occasion de la première vague de cet appel à projets, un second appel doté de 167,5 M€ est lancé aujourd’hui. Date limite de soumission : 11 février 2016.
Marine mammals as oceanographic platforms, a new tool for recording physical and biological data in remote areas
Research on the effects of climate change on oceans remains held back by a lack of in situ data, particularly from Polar Regions. To make up for this deficit, diving marine mammals have become a critical part of the ocean observation system. On June 1, the international MEOP portal opened up access to information collected by animals tagged with tracking devices. The following is a presentation of three projects led by the initiative’s French branch and funded by ANR.
The FRIPON project, using cameras to track down meteorites
Meteorites are rocks that fall down to Earth from the solar system. Studying them allows us to learn more about the solar system’s origins and evolution. With changes in lifestyle having caused meteorite sightings to become increasingly rare and scattered, the FRIPON project created the world’s densest camera network to track the origin of meteorites and facilitate their collection.
