Future Internet: the LISP-Lab project deploys an international experimentation platform
The current architecture of the Internet is based on the TCP/IP protocol suite. To address the future needs of scalability of the Internet and the exponential development of new services, current Internet architecture must be improved. Among proposed approaches, LISP architecture is emerging as a promising solution. LISP (Locator/Identifier Separation Protocol) designates a new architecture and a set of protocols for implementing new address semantics to set up the Future Internet. The LISP-Lab project has endeavoured to speed up the development of this solution and is implementing and deploying a large-scale experimentation platform. As of today, this platform is already operational and freely open to anyone interested in conducting large-scale experiments using LISP architecture and its associated protocols.
Funding of French-Indian projects: signature of a cooperation agreement between the ANR and the Department of Science and Technology in India
The ANR signed on March 7th in Dehli, India, a cooperation agreement with the Department of Science and Technology (DST) aiming to finance French-Indian research projects. The agreement consists in the identification of research areas to be jointly finance on a yearly basis. The ANR and the DST commit to co-fund projects selected on the basis of a peer review process. The submission and selection of projects will follow ANR's regular process in the framework of the Blanc International programme. In India, the Indo-French Centre for the Promotion of Advanced Research (CEFIPRA) will be in charge of the implementation of the calls for proposals and the funding of the Indian teams.
From International Day of Women and Girls in Science to International Women’s Day

French-Japanese joint review workshop in ICT in Kobe
The French National Research Agency (ANR) and the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) launched together a call for proposals in 2010 in the field of Information and Communication Sciences and Technologies and their usages. In this framework, they co-financed 4 large-scale French-Japanese projects. Two years after the launching of the programme, the ANR and the JST organized on March 13-14, 2012 in Kobe, Japan, a mid-term review workshop for the funded projects. The event gathered more than 80 French and Japanese academic and industrial participants around broad topics such as security evaluation, wireless communication with Terahertz, the exposure of wireless network on fetus and high performance computing. The workshop participants were invited to visit the K computer, one of the world’s most powerful supercomputers which can reach up to 10,51 petaFLOPS.

French Presidency of the Council of the European Union (FPCEU): ANR actions and events
The French Presidency of the Council of the European Union (FPCEU), being held from 1 January to 30 June 2022, is a major opportunity to strengthen the exposure of the French and European Higher education, research and innovation (HERI) community. In this context, more than 70 labelled events by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI) are held by organisations, operators or institutions. The French National Research Agency (ANR) organises and takes part in several FPCEU-labelled events. This is an opportunity to review the actions and instruments implemented by the ANR to strengthen European scientific collaborations.
