The MOMENTA project aims at improving the modeling and prediction of aero-elastic loads when a turbulent wind turbine wake is impacting another wind turbine, to shorten the wind farm design process.
BeCore (2020-2024) aims at a comparative study of the textual and graphical signs of authority and validity in late medieval charters in France and Austria, basing on the resources given by Monasterium (http://Monasterium.net). It will allow for the serializing and comparative studying of the marks of authority, along several lines of research: the signs of authority and their nature, the circulation of models, and the relationships between graphical and textual signs.

In France, heating networks are largely dependent on fossil fuels (42%), and deep geothermal energy represents less than 5% of the energy mix of heating networks. Deployment of geothermal energy in large cities is limited by a geological risk, difficult to predict. UPGEO will work to develop a predictive numerical tool to perform thermo-hydro-mechanical simulations and assess the performance at a given location in Ile-de-France on its geothermal potential.

In a context of ageing road networks, and of reduced maintenance budgets, it is important to understand better and control road pavement surface degradation mechanisms to optimize their design and maintenance. <br />Currently, specifications exist regarding adhesion, texture, evenness, but no standards or design methods allow defining the mechanical characteristics, guaranteeing the durability of surface layers which support directly traffic loads.
The project focuses on how nature-related issues are brought before law courts; how the environment and animal protection are handled at judicial level by lawyers, activists and the state; how nature is ‘judicialised’ and ‘governed’ through the judiciary in different countries, and how the global debate on acknowledging some kind of rights to nature and animals is implemented in actual litigations.
