Virology, innovation and research for vaccinology of poultry and rabbits
The detection and characterization of emerging viruses are of critical importance in the field of veterinary vaccinology, in order to guarantee the quality of vaccines and to control any biological ri
Viable InTensification of Agricultural production through sustainable Landscape transition
Europe will face increasing pressure on agricultural systems due to increasing global food demands, competing claims on land resources and decreasing possibilities to displace production outside Euro
Very High Field DNP / MAS NMR
The optimization of the structural and magnetic properties of the polarizing agents has significantly contributed to the increase of the signal enhancement at 9 T and to the success of the technique. However, ssNMR/DNP still faces important disadvantages, such as non-optimal signal enhancement and a poor spectral resolution due to the low temperature of the experiments. Moreover, at high field (18 T), the gain in sensitivity is dramatically reduced in regards with experiments performed at 9T.
Verified OCaml Library
Our project aims at developing the first mechanically verified library of efficient general-purpose data structures and algorithms. This may come as a surprise, but there does not currently exist an
Variscan pegmatites as new potential mineral resources
VARPEG is an integrated research program on Variscan granitic pegmatites coordinated at the French national scale . The classical model of granite derivation is re-evaluated and a new paradigm (anatectic origin) for the origin of these potential mineral resources is tested and elaborated. VARPEG comprises three main parts and includes fundamental conceptual aspects and others more practical allowing exploration operations to be optimized and pegmatite bodies to be targeted.
Validation of MT5-MMP as a new therapeutic target in Alzheimer’s disease and mechanisms of action
Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is the most devastating neurodegenerative disorder, for which no cure or prevention exists at this point. Therefore, there is urge in identifying new targets to better understand the underlying molecular mechanisms underlying amyloidogenesis and neuroinflammation across different stages of AD. To this end, two leading CNRS laboratories have joined forces to develop MAD5 in the context of an ongoing collaboration.
VULnerability of Populations under Extreme Scenarios
VULPES will evaluate the impact of past climate change on mountain ecosystems and their genetic diversity from around the world, and forecast potential impacts of future climate change. Employing pri
VIOLENCE AND MILITANT RADICALISM IN FRANCE - A SHS (human and social science) MULTIDISCIPLINARY ANALYSIS
The VIORAMIL project addresses the issues of the “violent radicalization of individuals or groups of individuals” that constitutes one of the elements of the first of our main areas of focus : “Securi
VCP Interacting Drugs as a novel strategy for the treatment of ALZheimer's disease
Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is the most prevalent cause of dementia in elderly aged of 65 and over. Yet, there are no curative drugs and current treatments remain symptomatic. AD is a multifactorial slow
