Integrated Approaches to Human Migration/Mobility in an Era of Rapid Global Change - Belmont Forum 2022
The Belmont Forum, an international partnership of research funding agencies that ANR is part of, launches a call aimed at fostering integrated systems approach on migration and mobility and its intersection with Global Change. Following a (non-mandatory) registration stage ending on 11 February 2022 and followed by a networking and capacity building phase, the call will welcome transdisciplinary research proposals from May to July 2022.
Pre-announcement: a transnational call on the nutrition-responsiveness of the immune system: interplay between infectious diseases and diet-related metabolic diseases and the potential for food-based solutions (NUTRIMMUNE)
The French National Research Agency (ANR) will launch an international call in the domain of nutrition and health under the umbrella of the JPI HDHL (“A Healthy Diet for a Healthy Life”). This call will include 11 funding organisations from 8 different countries. The call will be launched on the 15th of February 2022 and applicants will have up to the 21st of April 2022 to submit their proposals.
For the 2022 edition, ANR renews its collaboration agreement with the Japanese Science and Technology Agency (JST) in the framework of the JST-CREST programme. The joint call will be open to the following two themes:
Chlordecone is a pesticide used in West Indies (Guadeloupe and Martinique Islands) from 1972 to 1993 to control the banana weevil. This molecule (and its secondary metabolites) is toxic to humans and causes lasting pollution of water, soil and food chains.
Thirty-one Funding Agencies from all over Europe and abroad are pleased to pre-announce a joint transnational call for research and innovation projects on “Management of water resources for increased resilience, adaptation and mitigation to hydroclimatic extreme events”.
The ANR participates in the 12th call of the CHIST-ERA ERA-NET consortium (European coordinated research on long-term ICT and ICT-based scientific Challenges) bringing together 18 countries, with a budget of 10,2 M€.
JPcofuND 2. Rapid-action call for expert Working Groups addressing the impact of COVID-19 on Neurodegenerative Diseases research
The ANR launches in collaboration with the ERA-NET JPcofuND 2 a rapid action call for leading scientists in the field to establish community-led Working Groups dedicated to discuss research strategies that concern the impact of COVID-19 on the development and progression of neurodegenerative disease as well as on the care of patients suffering from neurodegenerative diseases. These strategies can also consider the impact of COVID-19 on neurodegenerative disease research itself, how it is conducted and how it influenced technological innovations for neurodegenerative diseases.
ANR launches in collaboration with NSF, DOE and NIH (USA), BSF (Israel) and NICT (Japan) a call for research and data sharing projects in computational neuroscience.
Joint call for proposals of ERA-Nets Cofund Susfood2 and FOSC: Innovative solutions for resilient, climate-smart and sustainable food systems
The ERA-NET Cofunds Susfood2 (Sustainable Food Production and Consumption) and FOSC (Food System and Climate) launch a joint call for transnational interdisciplinary research projects on Innovative solutions for resilient, climate-smart and sustainable food systems. It is a one-step application procedure.
The European Interest Group (EIG) CONCERT-Japan is an international joint initiative aiming at support and enhance science, technology and innovation (STI) cooperation between European countries and Japan. Former ERA-NET program from 2011 to 2014, EIG CONCERT-Japan works as an independent collaboration since 2015. Within EIG CONCERT-Japan, the French National Research Agency (ANR), together with the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and 13 other European partners, launches the international joint research call « Sustainable Hydrogen Technology as Affordable and Clean Energy ».
