Specific support for research works and innovation for defence: thematic call on cognitive warfare
The National Research Agency is launching, with the Defence Innovation Agency (AID) as partner, the call for projects ASTRID Cognitive warfare. This program is fully funded by AID and is hosted by ANR, which ensures its implementation.
Setting up International Scientific Networks for the surveillance and diagnostics of antimicrobial resistance - JPIAMR-ACTION 2022
The French National Research Agency is joining the fifteenth call for proposals launched by the JPIAMR. This call will support the setting of international networks aiming to improve the surveillance and diagnostics of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). The total budget for this action will be of one million of euros.
2022 Joint FACCE-JPI and Suscrop call for proposals on Agrobiodiversity
Both initiatives FACCE-JPI and SusCrop have identified and flagged “Agrobiodiversity” as a key topic to promote and sustainable and resilient crop production in agriculture. Therefore, FACCE-JPI and SusCrop have decided to join forces to put in place a joint Call for research projects addressing agrobiodiversity, with the following purpose:
1st joint call Chlordecone
Chlordecone is a pesticide used in Guadeloupe and Martinique from 1972 to 1993 to control the banana weevil. This molecule (and its secondary metabolites) is toxic to humans and causes lasting pollution of water, soil and food chains.
Announcement: The “Tremplin-ERC Consolidator Grant” call is open
Designed to improve France’s success rate in European Research Council (ERC) calls, Tremplin-ERC (T-ERC) is a funding instrument set up by ANR as part of its Work Programme 2022. T-ERC is open to all ERC research disciplines (LS, PE, SH).

The nutrition-responsiveness of the immune system: interplay between infectious diseases and diet-related metabolic diseases and the potential for food-based solutions (NUTRIMMUNE) 2022
The French National Research Agency, in partnership with Seven countries (Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Spain, The Netherlands and United Kingdom) is launching a call, named NUTRIMMUNE, for proposals under the JPI HDHL. The initiative aims to promote international research on nutrition and health. The global budget for this action will be of 8,27 millions of euros.
Specific support for research works and innovation for defence: thematic call on energy - 2022
Global technological and industrial competition requires ensuring the dual applications of research results. Therefore, all the agreements for the projects selected in this call will include IP clauses aimed essentially at subjecting to prior authorization from DGA a sale of intellectual property resulting from the work (or an exclusive concession license) to preserve the feasibility of these applications. More generally, DGA wishes to promote the development of innovations and makes available to project leaders a network of technical experts with knowledge of the industrial environment.
Call for Expressions of Interest to establish a Knowledge Hub in the framework of the ERA-NET Cofund « Urban Accessibility and Connectivity »
In the framework of the ERA-NET « Urban Accessibility and Connectivity » (EN-UAC), ANR, together with 6 other partners from 5 European countries, is launching a call for Expressions of Interest to establish a Knowledge Hub composed of experts from academia and practitioners for the connection of projects and initiatives on the basis of R&I results synthesis and dissemination, in the field of sustainable urban accessibility and connectivity.
Second Call for Partnerships with African Higher Education - PEA 2022
The French National Research Agency (ANR) launches the second call on «Partnerships with the African Higher Education», funded by the French Development Agency (AFD), in the context of the « Bienvenue en France » strategy held by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry for Higher Education, Research and Innovation, and Campus France. This actions aims at long-term partnership projects between one or more French Higher Education institutes and an African Higher Education institute, for graduate, master and PhD courses in some given activity sectors.
