Quantum Technologies: pre-announcement of the QuantERA’s 3rd Call for proposals

The QuantERA ERA-NET, coordinated by the National Science Centre (NCN), and with the ANR as one of its partners, will soon launch a new call for proposals to fund transnational research projects in Quantum Technologies, in support to the actions of the Quantum Technologies Flagship. The call will gather 35 funding organisations, including the ANR.

This transnational call, co-funded by the European Commission, will be divided into two topics:

1. Quantum Phenomena and Resources (QPR),
2. Applied Quantum Science (AQS).

Each topic will have specific expectations that will be detailed in the call text, to the published mid-March 2021. The list of participating countries is shown on QuantERA’s webpage.

The partners of the selected proposals will each be funded by their respective funding organisations.

Tentative timeline:

The call will be opened mid-March 2021 and the deadline for the submissions will be set in mid-May 2021. The selected projects will be notified in December 2021 and will be able to start their projects early in 2022.
