Generic Encapsulation concept for Lactic acid bacteria
GEL - Generic Encapsulation concept for Lactic acid bacteria
Generation of induced-pluripotent stem (iPS) cells from normal and retinitis pigmentosa patients for phenotype screening of photoreceptor differentiation and studying photoreceptor disease mechanisms.
The use of iPS cells opens up new avenue for biological science and regenerative medicine. Regarding the retina, iPS cells can be used as an unlimited source for cell differentiation and transplantation, a promising therapy for human retinal degenerative diseases. It can be also used as a new tool for human developmental and disease modeling and for pharmacological studies such as drug screening.
Generation and characterization of 3D organoid models as tools to identify the biological underpinnings of therapy resistance and relapse in pediatric sarcomas
Despite the use of a multimodal treatment, survival rate for pediatric sarcomas has come to a standstill for the last decades. We then crucially need to learn more about pediatric cancers specificities to discover the next generation of oncogenic processes to develop more effective and less toxic treatments adapted to young patients.

Gender based violence and intersectionality in the French overseas territories
This project aims to contribute, both theoretically and empirically, to the field of gender-based violence studies and engages an intersectional perspective. It posits that the postcolonial context and socioeconomic characteristics of the three overseas territories studied – Guadeloupe, Martinique, and Reunion Island – intensify the role of certain factors associated with the risk of violence and complicate pathways out of violent situations. The project follows on from the Virage Outre-mer survey (Ined, 2018).
