A One health study of Monkeypox: Human infection, animal reservoir, disease ecology and diagnostic tools
The understanding of monkeypox still has many grey areas: the animal reservoir is not identified, the risk factors for zoonotic and human-to-human transmission, and the ecological conditions favorable to its emergence are not fully described. Our multidisciplinary project will be grafted on the national surveillance process of monkeypox and will allow a holistic approach of this disease through multiple complementary approaches.
Optical coherence tomography for REtinal Organoid imaging
Retinitis pigmentosa (RP) is a group of inherited neurodegenerative diseases that result in selective cell death of photoreceptors.
Human induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cell technology generates retinal organoids for disease modeling purposes, and cell-based rescue or replacement strategies.
High resolution imaging tools are essential to perform to monitor bioproduction of these cell cultures and to validate disease models and therapeutic solutions.

Chondrite Recipe from Accretion Disk modeling and Laboratory Experiments
CRADLE (Chondrite Recipe from Accretion Disk modeling and Laboratory Experiments) consists in an original approach associating the development of numerical simulations modeling the physical, chemical and isotopic evolution of the protosolar disk with new observations of the isotopic compositions of primitive meteorites. These observations give access to the irradiation intensity, to the ages of the first solids formed in the disk and to their residence time in the gas.
Intelligent Estimation Algorithms for Smart Mobility
The development of controllers with high performance and reliability for connected and autonomous vehicles (CAVs) will require real-time measurements or estimates of many variables on each vehicle. Examples of variables that are needed for feedback include: longitudinal distances, velocities and accelerations of other nearby vehicles; lateral position of the vehicle in its own lane; vehicle yaw angle; slip angle; yaw rate; steering angle; lateral acceleration; and roll angle.
Elucidating the multifaceted functions of protein acetyltransferases in plant stress response and regulation of metabolism.
The overarching aim of the KatNat project is to provide a mechanistic understanding of protein acetylation in plants, with a particular focus on investigating the enzymes that catalyze this modification (Nt- and K-acetyltransferases) and the resultant effects on proteostasis, photosynthesis, and metabolism.
Robot collaboratif
The goal of the CoBot (Collaborative roBot) project is to enable humanoid robots to interact and collaborate safely with humans during handling tasks.
The project is in the axe « Interaction, Robotics - Artificial intelligence » of the challenge «Society of information and communication». The project matches gesture, movement, collaborative interactions, increased human, humanoid, adaptable systems, planning, cognitive architecture, autonomous decision, human-robot collaboration, mobility...
