The aim of this project is to study refined spectral, microlocal or semi-classical estimates for mainly non-selfadjoint operators and their applications to dynamical and evolution problems.
We propose the 3 following main tasks:

1 - Eigenvalue problems, geometry and dynamics
2 - Scattering and resonances
3 - Modeling, pseudospectrum and evolution problems
The main originality is to propose a transverse treatment of nonselfadjoint and evolution problems. We intend to gather people working in different communities, such as global analysis, resonances and scattering or applied problems coming from oceanography and kinetic theory.
numerous articles have already been published by members of the project. One workshop (sept 2012) and a summer school (July 13) have been organized.
2 other meetings (workshops) and an international conference are scheduled during the 4 years of the project, organized by the 3 centers of the project (Nantes, Rennes, Orsay).
Scentific productions in mathematics consist essentially in articles in international journals with committees.
The aim of this project is to study refined spectral, microlocal or semi-classical estimates for mainly non-selfadjoint operators and their applications to dynamical and evolution problems. This involves in particular resolvent type estimates, spectral and pseudospectral estimates, numerical simulations, Weyl law type estimates and resonances results. By evolution problems we mean scattering, diffusion, dissipation, damping, propagation or return to the equilibrium phenomena, arising in kinetic theory, relativity, superconductivity, oceanography and more generally mathematical physics. The central idea of the project is to help interplay between researchers working on estimates and researchers studying or modeling evolution problems.
