French legal codes dictionnary – DICODEX
Projet DICODEX
French legal dictionnary from french codes
interim Report
The project's purpose is to exhume the definitions contained in the codes of French law in order to know the nature, the legal force and reality.
He is to design a method of exhumation definitions following the full reading of code content. This legal and linguistic method led to the establishment of a system of data collection and sharing them.
At the time of the interim report in July 2012, many codes are still exploring. However, the challenge set at the beginning of the research is on a positive track.
First, numerous definitions exhumed by the team members.
Then it appears that the nature and legal force definitions exhumed raises questions. Not all have the same value.
Finally, there is some research findings at this stage: the «codificateur« does not hesitate to define. shape may vary but subject to certain definitional provisions codified is very present.
From a substantive standpoint, Iit remains to consider several codes.
From the perspective method, it is the complete database which has been formalized. it is also projected to drop this database once it is formed to protect the contents with regard to intellectual property.
Phase exploitation of results is under development.
It is projected to trademark DICODEX and the database.
